Temples are 2013's version of Tame Impala as they deliver a heavy dose of psychedelic rock. Their latest single 'Colours To Life' will be released on June 24th via Heavenly Recordings. The song itself is very strong and if you can overcome lead man James Bagshaw's hair in the video you may want to watch/listen on repeat.

Heavenly recording in Paris... Record Store Day, or should I say Disquaire Day Party (comme on dit dans Paris), provides ample opportunity and downright excuses for record stores, labels and musicians to do something a little out of the ordinary to celebrate the lifeblood of the physical disc. Heavenly Records have decided to grab a handful of their artists and head south towards the culture capital that is Paris ahead of three special HR limited edition releases on April 20th. Twenty two years after the label's first [...]
I’m a great fan of new takes on older music styles; recently I've been enjoying the resurgence in popularity of the neo-psychedelic sound, spearheaded by the success of groups like Tame Impala and The Amorphous Androgynous. Temples are a band ... Continue reading

Paul Freeman has spent over ten years in the music business but as far as his current project is concerned he can be considered a 'new' artist. He's releasing a solo album in the spring called 'The King of False Alarms' and it will be the first of two which will feature both his acoustic side and a more solid band based tracks So what's he been doing for the last ten years? [...]

Their debut album, 2012’s Into The Diamond Sun , is a collection of songs that don’t so much defy genres as gleefully hand-pick the most mellifluous elements of everything from voodoo folk, DIY pop, post punk + analogue electronica, & stitch them together into a glorious harmonic whole. Into the Diamond Sun is out now on Heavenly Recordings. [...]

The dance-pop savant kindly took time out of his busy itinerary to talk about Saint Etienne.

singolo di esordio per i Temples in uscita per Heavenly Recordings il prossimo 12 Novembre - ecco i due brani con cui si presenta questa nuova band inglese:

Kettering's Temples have long been burning a hole in every A&R's ear up and down the British Isles. They've finally announced their first proper release, with lead track "Shelter Song" even getting a jazzy new video too. continue reading >>

After the huge success of their 2011 debut album [...]

Just caught a storming track on Marc Riley's 6 Music show by Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs . Sadly, we didn't catch what the song title was, but it was a storming slab of high octane riffing that made us turn the radio way past 11. (If you know the title post a comment and tell us!) So, we had a quick look round and they are signed to Heavenly Recordings and have this demo up on Soundcloud and a couple of tracks on their Bandcamp page (including one free download). They will be supporting [...]
TOY are another band I have had my eye on for awhile and are set to finally release their self-titled debut album. When listening to TOY I am reminded of The Horrors and the dark fuzzy type of music that can be created in a way that hypnotizes you.

anticipato qualche mese fa dal singolo Motoring (con un gran remix di Peaking Lights!) esce oggi per Heavenly Recordings l’album di esordio dei TOY :

Noisily drenched DIY-pop from Liverpool, in the hazy shape of psychedelic folktronica!!! Medieval synths and drones, hypnotic beats, spiraling whammy guitars and MYSTICAL!!! harmonies. "in its DIY mesh of the organic and electronic Into the Diamond Sun merits contention alongside recent eccentric but accessible albums by those highly regarded boy bands Alt-J and Django Django" -- The Guardian Band Of The Day Read more »
