By now, it would seem that Luke Temple is a household name, or at least with the recent success of his main role in Here We Go Magic . But, unlike the offering with his group, Luke Temple's new solo record, Don't Act Like You Don't Care , has a bit of a vibe that's all over the map. While it's not as focused as his other works, it clearly demonstrates the incredible range Temple maintains as a songwriter. This opening track will definitely [...]
Filed under: News , New Music , Exclusive Tell All Your Friends PR If you've heard any of Luke Temple 's solo work, you know that the Here We Go Magic frontman has a folky side. With two albums under his belt but little success to show for it, Temple focused his efforts on writing two records -- Here We Go Magic's 2009 self-titled debut and a "country record" that fell by the wayside [...]

Here We Go Magic - Hands In The Sky Indie rockers Here We Go Magic have announced they will be dropping a fresh new EP aptly titled The January EP. The following article was submitted by Akila Janet : Luke Temple recorded the first Here We Go Magic album on his own using a 4-track recorder. This time around he recruits a full band, adding Peter Hale, Jennifer Turner, Michael Bloch, and Kristina Lieberson to the recording process, giving Pigeons a noticeably fuller sound than its predecessor. The songwriting as a whole sounds a lot more mature and the production value has gone up considerably compared to the first album providing a fuller, [...]

Here We Go Magic is having an excellent 2010 to follow up a breakthrough 2009. Their second LP, Pigeons , is well worth the few benjamins and they're all set to embark on a fall tour with Dr. Dog. Luckily, the heavy western-state coverage still allows for one stop in Cleveland, where we love us some Dr. Dog. The show is on October 19 at The Beachland Ballroom . We've got a pretty steady stream of excellent shows arriving in town this fall, but be sure to sharpie-mark your calendars for this one. [...]

Filed under: News , New Music , Exclusive When Here We Go Magic frontman Luke Temple was trying to come up with a name for the band's second full-length, he started throwing around the word "pigeons." Temple liked how pigeons are everywhere in cities, although no one ever really notices them. "Pigeons are this underrated, underdog-like bird," Temple tells Spinner. "I think of ourselves as that." With the release of 'Pigeons' on June 13, Here We Go Magic may graduate from buzzworthy underdogs to the indie [...]
