Orange Verte Wine importers: The Friuli method for the viticulture and winemaking The winemaking history of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia has been strongly influenced by the history of the Friuli and Venezia Giulia regions that were important stops along the Mediterranean spice route from the Byzantine Empire to the trading center of Venice. During the Middle Ages, travelers passing [...]

Ready to get extremely jealous that you aren't a celebrity stylist (if you weren't already?) Vans have made an exclusive collection of slip-ons using the patterns from stylist Robert Verdi' favourite Hermès silk scarves. The results are these casual yet indulgent shoes that will probably never get worn (what a shame!) only photographed to make us swoon. Checkout more of the beautiful shoes after the jump. [...]

![[Introducing] – Hermes](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3301603_lg.jpg)
In Greek mythology, Hermes was a messenger from the Gods to humans, while also serving as a guide/protector for travelers and miscreants to the Underworld. While the teenagers that make up the new band Hermes, probably don't have a direct line to the Gods, they do serve as expressive messengers who guide us along their journey and share their music with us, the travelers and maybe some of us are the miscreants. This trio - Thomas Jacob, James Dolman and Greg Davies - has been working over the past year, defining their sound, writing [...]
hermes are an English trio that I am totally in love with at the moment. There's a quality to their music that I can "feel," something that helps me connect to a part of my Many moons ago, back when I was young and dumb and in college, I was lucky enough to spend a Spring Break in Cirencester. Yes, I went to England...in March. Smart idea, I know, but the idea was that I would (or so I thought) close to London and Bath and rad stuff. I thought I would be taking in [...]

hermes release double A side Anyone Who Cares / More Love In Death out 25th April West country pop punk purveyors hermes are set to release their second single double A Side Anyone Who Cares / More Love In Death this Spring. Unbelievably accomplished for a young band, it's easy to see why the US have started to fall for their charms. Chicago's JBTV founder Jerry Bryant heard about the band and absolutely loved them. He has become a [...]
If you've ever been in a situation where you happened to noticed something you might dub "interesting" and then go diving for your camera (or phone, as it were these days) only to find you 1) forgotten it or 2).....

This top 50 list contains the 50 tracks from 50 different artists and like all lists they represent the music which I adore at this very moment in time. 11: Sean [Dr.] Millar - Sports and Pussy Sean Millar is a literary genius as demonstrated again by his 'Of The People' parts one and two releases this year. I adore this little folky number which contains scathing [...]
Four free tracks from Herm, including a brilliant Tulalah Does the Hula remix.
Lets take a trip into the world of elitest advertising. What would make some one who has it all want something? That question will be answered in this post. Hermes, is a High Fashion company that's been going strong for almost 200 years. They are based out of France and a simple scarf by them will put you back at least $300. On that note, lets see how they make us want what they have. [...]

Herm @ The Mercantile All disparate song styles taking in folk, rock and melodic indie-pop, Kevin Connolly's Herm have been operating under the radar since first emerging in 2004. Last year's fine debut album Monsters bulged with ideas and tonight they showcase their ability to flirt between styles. An acoustic opener makes way for the catchy indie-pop of recent single 'Heads' (think The Walls), 'Sandcastles' evokes Bright Eyes while the heavy rock of 'Snake Oil', with it's triple layer of vocals shows comfort in moving out of their comfort zone. Forced to end their set [...]
