Two of Madison's freakiest musicians team up together on this one: Clay Ruby's one-man doom band Burial Hex gets remixed by his Horrid Red bandmates, and has Zola Jesus sing the vocals on this sinister take of "The Far." This remix is a shortened version of a 20-minute take Ruby did for an Italian label, but obviously this one is more high profile. New Zola Jesus stuff!! Well, actually a Burial Hex song with Nika Roza Danilova on vocals, remixed by Horrid Red . And Horrid Red is actually Ruby Clay of Burial Hex, along with Edmund Xavier. Huh!
