Today's music is willing and ready. Enjoy. : Big Deal - Dream Machines : If you don't have Big Deal's upcoming album on your "anticipated" list, then you need to whip out your pen and scribble it in. So far in 2013 they've released three stellar singles, and I can't wait to check out what else they've crafted. June Gloom is due on June 4 via Mute . : Honeymoon - Sure Stuck : Here's a new act that was created by Aaron Shanahan and Benjamin Plant. The pair [...]

Clearly I'm in the mood for upbeat tunes today, and this one is definitely another to add to my list for the day. Honeymoon is a duo from LA, who are in the process of working on a full-length release. While their at it, they've leaked this new song, which shows them dabbling with various elements from across the musical landscape. It all revolves around pop, but they branch across varying genres to include space-age oddball moments, but also reach across varying decades for touchstones. Give it a listen and let me know what [...]
New single from Honeymoon . Look for a full release in the near future.
Honeymoon's new single will sure get stuck in your head. Hear "Sure Stuck". Honeymooon is the romantic conception of Australian, LA based music producers, Aaron Shanahan and Benjamin Plant. After many years producing...

A danceable psych-pop tune inspired by the homeless epidemic in our sunny city, "Hail the Madmen" is the first single from newbies, Honeymoon . Despite the heavy subject matter, this is a tune you want to blast rolling down Sunset with the top down. Layers of psychedelic synths swirl over funky bass lines and dreamy guitar licks allowing the conscious message to be an easy pill to swallow. This LA-by-way-of-Australia duo have been working on their debut full length over the past year, with an expected summer release. - Jacqueline Caruso

The duo unleash their love of colourful psychedelic 60's-70's pop on the debut single, "Hail The Madmen", off their upcoming album due out this summer. Listening to the lyrics reveals homelessness as the song's subject. Honeymooon sings about getting these madmen "off the street" and "on your feet." A poignant topic for sure.

Buffetlibre are a production/dj duo from Barcelona, Spain. You may recognise the name as they've been the driving force behind internet remix projects such as 'Rewind' . Next year they release their first album, " Songs For Elaine ", which has been produced by Sidechains . You can check out and download a track from it below, it's called " Bali Honeymoon " and I simply like it because it's quite happy and cheerful sounding. It's here. The beginning of the end. " Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Pt. 1 ." "Breaking Dawn" is perhaps the strangest of the "Twilight" books - in the first half there is vampire/human sex, a hybrid pregnancy that requires a pretty disgusting delivery and then werewolf "imprinting" on an infant. Yeah...strange, even after already adjusting to the idea of sparkling vampires in the first three books and films. Movies are very different beasts, so translating that to the big screen is something I would not envy of anyone. "Breaking Dawn" brings on [...]

"eine schöne tour. drei tolle bands, neun knallköppe, mal sehen, wer als erstes heiser wird." haha, sehr schön! das berliner kollektiv *u*n*s ...
It's been a while since I last heard something from Buffetlibre. But they've just finished recording the first two singles from their forthcoming album, Songs for Elaine, which will be out next year. There's a list of guest features on the vocal tip and collaborations, but back to the first two singles. "Bali Honeymoon" and [...]
Factory and Sarah Recording artists The Wake are back in New York City. After making their stateside debut last year at New York City Popfest, the band was slated to perform at Seaport Music Festival. But due to the rain the show has been moved to Littlefield in Brooklyn. Known for singles such as "On [...]

This isn't really my thing but it wasn't bad. Sounded like the kind of 'quirky' music you hear in those ipod nano commercials or something! If you dig Feist and Adele , you know: female pop music that's still kind of cool and vaguely 'edgy', this may appeal. BTW: I apologize if my reference point sound crazy. Once I veer away from my favorite genres (hip hop, R&R/soul, some strains of indie and electronic and club music, sh-t can get kinda wobbly very quickly!) Download Jenn Grant Getcha Good [...]
