It's only inevitable that, in the current swath of reuniting bands, that Hopesfall would follow suit. The lineup from the EP have gotten back together to play two shows in their homebase of South Caroline, lifting material from their first three releases: Frailty of Words , No Wings to Speak Of , and The Satellite Years . What a year this was, right? Oil goes way up then goes way down, America elects a half-white guy for the presidency, and OJ is finally receives a prison sentence. This was a good year for me in terms of the harder offerings. In 2007 I kinda had to do the ice-cream-genre-barrel-scrape- around because a lot of metallish releases didn't hit the sweet spot. Underoath is kind of a big deal (to some people) so I feel obligated to let you know that they're posting a song tonight at midnight. The song, Desperate Times, Desperate Measures , is off their upcoming album Lost In The Sound Of Separation (due out Sep 2). I'm sure to fans it will be amazing, and everyone else will say it's stupid/lame/ Hopesfall did it (back when Hopesfall was good, OMG, duh).
