The first two months of 2013 have seen big things for Vancouver-based duo Humans. They just finished up a four-stop tour around Western Canada and are gearing up for a solid SXSW run. Moreover, they just released their "Nine Tenths Remix EP", which features three remixes of the track "Possession". Fans of the latent tribalism of a band like Tanlines (who in reality are just doing bad portraiture of Liquid Liquid) or the digital dancetopia of LCD Soundsystem (who admitted how much they owed Liquid Liquid) will find much redemptive value in Humans . "Possession" emerges as a part dance-floor burner, all wicked angular loops and shout along vocals, and part think-piece, clocking in near five minutes and packing two or three distinct movements. We ended up redo'ing it and it's been sitting on the shelf for over a year but they've (the Talented Peter Ricq) made a disturbing / delightful video for it and we can share it with y'all. Pour le moment tout reste assez secret autour de ce side project cependant voici Next Time , la toute première piste du ce duo tout neuf et on doit dire que ça fonctionne vraiment bien. Un single devrait arriver bientôt sur le label made in Vancouver, Hybridity Records , tout juste monté l'année dernière.
