The A$AP Mob continues to push out quality product with the release of visuals for A$AP Ferg's "Hundred Million Roses". The track released some time ago and is one of the only Fergie Ferg solo joints out. Directed by The ICU, the video sports appearances from nearly every member of the crew and is a testament to Ferg's audacious style. Check it out below and look from Rocky's "Goldie" video as well as the A$AP Mob project in the near future.

Menurut saya, single perdana [...]
With just a shake and a bake, a pie and pancake, Joell Ortiz has easily muscled his way into our iPods with his Farewell Summer EP . The video to the leadoff record, is no different as Mr. YAOWA bumrushes the Hot 97 studio just to film the ordeal. Imagine if Joell was the program director. Would cats complain about Hip-Hop on the airwaves? Another place and time for such questions. Download the Farewell Summer EP while it's still nice outside and give your brain [...]

Ab-Soul – “Black Lip Bastard (Black Hippy Remix)” Video (Feat. Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q & Jay Rock)
L.A.'s Black Hippy may be one of the most exciting rap crews to emerge in recent years, but all four members of the group don't appear together on the same song very often. When they do, it's cause for celebration. On the remix to Ab-Soul's "Black Lip Bastard," fellow Black Hippy members Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock all show up and do their best to snatch the song away from him, and that sense of talented friends in a room together, pushing each other, is something rare in rap these days. The video, directed by the ICU, is [...]

New Video: Lou Doillon – I.C.U.
It was this April 23 that with the release of her first single accompanied by a clip Lou Doillon made her official entry into the world of music; a little piano, a hoarse voice, English lyrics might not be enough, but still...It's beautiful, it touches me, I love it. She became my favorite heart attack of the month. A [...]

Danny Brown – “Blunt After Blunt” Video
Here's something I had to learn to hard way: No matter how much of a stoner you think you are, you should never, under any circumstances, smoke weed with rappers. You just can't handle it; I'm sorry. You will inevitably find yourself rolled into a ball on the carpet, wishing you could remember your own name. It's not worth it. (And yes, there's a story there. I'll tell you when we're both high sometime.) For some evidence of this little maxim, I present to you rabid Detroit hard-rhymer Danny Brown's video for "Blunt After Blunt." Brown's [...]
Kendrick Lamar – Black Hippy Collective Rapper Releases Rigamortis Video
Kendrick Lamar (born June 17, 1987) is a rapper from Compton, California and is a member of Black Hippy collective along with members Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q. His music is largely influenced by the works of Tupac Shakur, JAY-Z, Nas and DMX. He released the Kendrick Lamar EP in 2009, the critically acclaimed O(verly) D(edicated) mix tape in 2010 and most recently, his 2011 digital album Section.80, released under Top Dawg Entertainment. His debut album “A Good Kid In A Mad City” is set to be released sometime in 2012. The Rigamortis video is [...]
The 5 Best Videos Of The Week
The two highest-profile videos of the week were almost certainly Rihanna's " We Found Love " and Coldplay's " Paradise ." I didn't put either video on this list. I didn't leave them out because they're pop videos; I'm absolutely happy to show love to a great pop video. But both of those videos seemed forced, in opposite directions. Coldplay's clip was all overbearing whimsy, and Rihanna's video was an absolutely transparent attempt at edginess. Neither one of them had the energy or personality that a great video can bring. Neither one is terrible; it's just that we had five [...]
Kendrick Lamar – “Rigamortis” Video
"Rigamortis" is one of the standout songs on young, verbose L.A. rapper Kendrick Lamar's great Section.80 album. It's a blistering double-time technical workout over a floating early-'90s-style jazz-rap horn loop. And now it has the video it deserves, in which Kendrick, backed by a drummer and a couple of horn players, runs his mouth in an art museum and on a New York street divider while dead bodies litter the ground. The ICU direct. Watch it below. Read More...
I look 12 (flattery will get you everywhere)
I made it through a long Hurricane Irene call shift with two nights of minimal sleep on a call-room bed that is more metal springs than fluffy mattress. On my arrival home, I was greeted by my elderly neighbor, whom I have met several times, sweeping her driveway. Mrs. Cataract: So, you gonna start back at college soon? PGYx: (in scrub pants & t-shirt) [ laughing ] I'm a doctor! Mrs. C: Oh! Where you work? In related news, [...]

Art Department – The Drawing Board album review
Art Department's The Drawing Board seems to be a nostalgic nod to the house music of the 902s. Throw in a simple dance beat, syncopated synths and haunting, low vocals and you have yourself The Drawing Board. Consisting of Toronto-based duo Kenny Glasgow and Jonny White Art Department is a group that has many years of experience performing on the dance club scene. Their ability to create simple dance hits is evident in The Drawing Board. What may take some time to adjust to are Glasgow's out-of-tune vocals which are a staple in almost [...]
