Fever Ray and the Genius that is Karin Dreijer MMM I had somewhat high hopes for Fever Ray 's (aka half of the Knife, Karin Dreijer Andersson) self titled debut album. This LP just ended up being a much muuuuuuuuch poorer version of the Knife's Silent Shout and is quite different from Deep Cuts . Despite it being Karin's solo album, Olof Dreijer (her brother and the other half of the Knife) makes many appearances on this album so it sounds a lot like the Knife except the sound is no where as unique. They just released a video for the lead single off their upcoming album due out on March 24th on Mute . Wot the knife did next The Knife are definitely one of the more important and interesting bands of this decade. I reckon that people have an idea of this rather than knowing it outright. I read a review of Silent Shout in some paper/magazine of importance (please let me know in comments if you remember where) that gave that album a score of one out of ten, before saying it was probably the most pretentious and offensive shit the reviewer had ever heard. La canzone ve la facemmo ascoltare qualche settimana fa e ora ecco anche il video. Che dire? Già il brano era abbastanza inquietante, ora il video non fa che aumentare la sensazione. La direzione del video è affidata a Andreas Nilsson che riesce a rendere fede alle atmosfere di If I Had a Heart .
