The previously featured, " Stuck ", originally caught my attention, and hearing Canopy Climbers' debut album, Distances , won me over. I've become a big fan of these guys' music. Expect to see a few more Canopy Climbers features here on The Record Stache in between now and the release of Miles . Until then, enjoy this stream of "Always". Consider me a happy fan. "ETC" proves that Francis and the Lights haven't lost a single step in their absence. Minimal synths, playful keys, and drum kit are what gives the band their signature style. It's a simple setup that creates a sound that's so unique. Oh, and you can't forget about Francis' grand, airy voice that's equally intimate. I really hope that the release of "ETC" means that we'll see a new album this year. [...]

The track is a frolicy, breezy tune that will delight the ears of fans of lighthearted indie-rock. Lead singer Simon Milner 's raspy, sage vocals are reminiscent of Spoon lead singer Britt Daniel's.
