Walrus favourites (Alt-J) ( soundcloud ) have been on plenty of lists as one of the bands to watch for 2012, and for a damn good reason. Having just been signed to indie powerhouse Infectious , the stable of The Temper Trap and Local Natives, we will hopefully be seeing the boys everywhere with an album coming out later in the year. This is Architecture In Helsinki’ s new video for “Escapee” If I needed to escape reality with my bike, I think I would want this song for my soundtrack. I haven't seen many live performances by Local Natives so I'm not sure if this is how they usually go down, but holy shit can these gypsy-hipster (gypsters?) put on a show. Listening to their record you wouldn't think they'd be bordering on a Yeasayer meets Gogol Bordello live show, but I'll take it. Playing one of the best songs from their debut LP "Gorilla Manor" , they tore up "Wide Eyes", hitting every note like it was on the album and getting down like their caravans are almost "home".
