As previously reported , Girls performed today what was billed as the first nationwide instore, available on the websites of record stores across the country. They called it Girls Across America. Way back in the summer of 2006 at Lollapalooza, we were waiting at the main stage to see Queens of the Stone Age and accidently saw hasidic rapper Matisyahu . Washed Out has announced that to coincide with his new albums' release on the 11th July he is having an installation of a bed put up in Rough Trade East from 8th to 11th July for people "to indulge themselves in the album" with specially designed sheets and a dedicated listening post.
