Es entre Abril y Mayo que siempre me resfrió y me vuelvo alérgico a los colores de la web. Igual no es una buena excusa para ocultar lo evidente. Que flojo estoy con este blog. No deja de ser interesante la trilogía "ruidosa" que ha desarrollado Rodrigo Jarque en los últimos años. A partir de su lúgubre y ceremonioso primer disco en solitario, Monstruos bajo la cama (Autoedición, 2005), Jarque desarrolló formas musicales fuertemente ligadas al shoegaze (Ride y Slowdive, especialmente), destacando en una escena rockera nacional que, estancada en el garaje, el punk y la psicodelia, no prometía novedad alguna. Tras la formación de Inverness , Jarque logró ampliar su propio espectro sonoro, sumando mayor intensidad a las composiciones, dándole más presencia a la voz y matizando los momentos [...]
Tras presentarse en el Festival SXSW de Austin, la banda chilena Inverness , que ya había llamado la atención en el circuito local con Illuminaciones (LeRockPsicophonique, 2009), libera para descarga gratuita Fuegos Distantes , su álbum más reciente. Conocidos también por musicalizar la película "La Vida de los Peces" de Matías Bize, el grupo encabezado por Rodrigo Jarque masterizó este trabajo en el estudio Masterdisk de Nueva York (que ha prestado servicios para Sonic Youth, Wavves, Jay-Z, Jon Spencer,entre otros), junto al ingeniero Matt Shane.
