![[Listen/Download] – Underworld – "Born Slippy" (Refracture Remix)](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3191586_lg.jpg)
Going through Soundcloud and sorting through the bullshit, found me a WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! Presenting to you, Refracture. Our boy Paul Dobson of Ipswich, Britain has got some good ones for us. Let me just say that he is a producer from the UK that sounds like a producer... from the UK (read: fun, heavy, and fucking GOOD with the dubstep breaks). In the track released not more than a few days ago, there are some movement shifts that bring a whole myriad of emotions to the table. Starting off sounding a bit like Mark Ronson and [...]
The Cads out of Ipswich make it mandatory to put your dancing shoes on. Their song, "Skin" deserves you to get up and let looses. Using Two Door CInema CLub style energetic, catchy guitars, they craft delectable indie rock. This is simply some of the most infectious music to come out of England in recent times. Like the lads say, You're the only one not dancing" . So don't be "that guy" and join in on the fun. If your still having trouble finding some motivation, Just watch these two elders show you the right way to dance in [...]

I can't let these huge albums be publicised casually underneath my nose without a sniffle. I say that, the glorious perfume of Foals ' Spanish Sahara drifted to my senses effortlessly - you just needed to click on something relatively music related/dedicated and you'd be devouring their earned praises. Spanish Sahara was indeed very good. Personally not being such a fan of the Cassius era, I was no doubt converted to these oxford musicians within minutes of watching a sublime video for that new track . Or maybe it just [...]

Ash are re-inventing themselves as one of the most innovative indie bands out there. They've ditched the old format of doing albums, and are releasing their "A-Z Series", a collection of 26 limited edition 7" and digital download singles, released fortnightly over the coming year. To celebrate, they're playing an "A-Z tour", playing 26 lesser-known venues around the country from Aldershot to Zennor. The indie kids have been around for over 17 years, their "Intergalactic Sonic 73s" compilation being my introduction to proper good music, with "Girl from Mars" still one of my favourite tracks [...]

Never leave football again* Never. Selected quotes taken after the Coventry v Ipswich match - which ended in defeat for the Tractor Boys. : "I'll be down tonight but the day my appetite isn't affected by defeat I'll be out of the game. I am trying to learn from my experiences at Sunderland and not get too downhearted but I will not get home, put my feet up and have a whistle. "But I've been like that since I was eight or nine years old. the beauty of [...]

The title of this post (and image) is from his autobiography . I mentioned in a previous article that Sir Bobby Robson was on borrowed time. That was August last year. He defied all the odds and continued to fight, but finally as everyone I'm sure now knows... I loved that man, so easily likable, approachable and friendly. Which I supposed is all the same thing but I don't care. When you are eulogizing someone you can get away with it. [...]

The weather is closing in, getting a bit nippy outside of a night. Perfect time to post some calypso music... I've previously posted a couple of football and calypso music tracks here and here - this is part one of a two part post that will gather them all together. Yes that's right, there are so many footie&calypso songs that I had to split this in half. In the 50's there was a craze for the music in Britain and this even spread [...]

Well. They've only gone and re-released Stupids' Peruvian Vacation , remastered and with another fifteen or so tracks - which has sent me back to 1985 and my temporary thing for skatepunk. I couldn't ride a skateboard during the second wave of interest in falling off a bit of moving wood, but I did like the poppier end of the hardcore thrash that went with it. Stupids (the 'The' is a shibboleth that is FROWNED UPON by humourless sk8ter bois - sorry, skaters) were very much the right mix of speed and fun, the Banana Splits teenage rush mixed [...]

Robson has been battling a fifth bout of the illness and has accepted doctors' prognosis that he is unlikely to beat it. Speaking to The Sun, he said: [...]
