While I've liked most everything I've heard from AlunaGeorge thus far, "Attracting Flies" is the first HOLY SHIT song of theirs that has hit my ears. It's beat and vocals are butter slick, lettuce fresh and bubblegum catchy - it's the kind of track you need to instantly repeat as soon as it's over. Their debut Body Music doesn't come out until the summer, which is criminal but also perfect timing for something of this caliber.
It has been quite a busy last few months for AlunaGeorge . The pair team up with Disclousure for "White Noise", which might be our favorite track so far in 2013 and have released a couple of other songs that have garnered heavy praise. Yes, it is a bit poppier for Nite Versions but we definitely like them more after their song with Disclosure, White Noise . This electro distortion of vocals displayed in 'Your Drums, Your Love' is sure to be the next auto tune craze, but I'm lovin the hell out of it for now. And the nice thing with this compared to other distortionists is that Reid (producer) doesn't mess with Aluna's fiine vocals, but leaves the chopping & skewing for the chorus.
