finally got around to catching up with the EMMYs from a few nights ago, tots happy that the MODERN FAMILY and the MAD MEN and the GOOD WIFE and the BIG BANG THEORY scored wot they got. hopefully next year we'll see some COMMUNITY EMMYlovings plz. and then there's the LONELY ISLAND 's performance at the award ceremony to get love a love loving. even if the AKON semi-kills it. and the MICHAEL BOLTON still got that foxxiness. fact. wotyougot

As part of the encore to their Pittsburgh show at Stage AE last night, MMJ brought opener Neko Case onstage to duet with Jim James on "Islands In The Stream." The treacly Bee Gees-penned tune was originally intended for Marvin Gaye, but instead became a #1 hit for Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton in '83.
