If you get the chance before May 18, 2013, you should definitely head over to Flagg Art Foundation in Chelsea because they are currently showing two great exhibitions. The first (on the 10th floor) is by Hilary Harkness and one floor below is "Issue" by Tom Molloy. Both exhibits require extra viewing time as there is so much detail in both. For me, the highlight of "Issue" is a panel featuring [...]

All this week on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, they've been dealing with gun control. John Oliver did a segment each day gun control in Australia. It is a telling account on what it all means and just how stupid this fight is in the US. I defy all NRA members, Conservatives, Republicans, Tea Partiers and even Democrats to watch this. And respond. Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: [...]

We haven't posted anything by party-starter Juiceboxxx in a minute, but that changes today after hearing his bonkers new posse cut/remix. It's for "Pump It", a Beastie Boys-sounding cut that now features Antwon , Kool A.D. , Fat Tony , Issue and Schwarz. To match the pure mayhem of the track, Juiceboxxx provided a video of footage of people acting ridiculous and doing dangerous things. It's complementary and definitely works, but you can also just hit play, switch to another tab, and prepare to lose your shit. Peep the visuals below. [ via [...]

I guess it’s just a sign of the times...first record stores, then book shops and now magazines; today Newsweek released the cover for its last-ever print issue. Editor Tina Brown has said that the magazine could no longer realistically stay in print due to the new economics of the media industry. The last issue contains essays by former editors and high-profile Newsweek alumni, as well as a lengthy [...]

There have been many occasions since we started HT that we've written about an artist cancelling/postponing a tour and most of the time the "official" excuse is lame. This article however is not about one of those times. Fiona Apple has postponed a South American tour that was set to begin on Nov. 27th in Brazil and run through a Mexico City date on Dec. 9th. Apple has explained her decision to postpone the tour with a hand-written letter that brought us to the verge of tears. [...]
