Theophilus London's album 'Timez are Weird These Days' has been getting constant play from me since I first got my hands on it a few months ago. The album has a very fresh and original sound and is diverse in a way that attracts fans of lots of different styles of music. Many people have been attracted to the album by hearing the totally awesome first single, "I Stand Alone." I just got the remix from the talented Ocelot and have it available for your downloading pleasure below. I also threw up the music video of the [...]

Theophilus London I Stand Alone (Ocelot Remix) by TheophilusLondon
Theophilus London’s debut album Timez Are Weird These Days has been on constant replay for me as of late. While the record itself never gets old, it’s always refreshing to hear a great remix to one of his already progressive hip-hop songs. (See: RAC ’s remix to “Why Even Try” ) Check out this dubstep-esque reworking of “I Stand Alone”

Remixer Ocelot turns in a top shelf dub spin on Theo's "I Stand Alone". Do it live. Theophilus London ( Official ) ( Blog ) ( Twitter ) Rating 8.4

Are you into me?! You never talk anymore! All you do is sing!!!" My anthem right now... Theophilus London - I Stand Alone
Busy day for bloggers today - lots of new shit dropping before the weekend. This new visual comes from Skateboard TheoP's Timez Are Weird These Days album (which is honestly not very good). I prefer the mixtape and EP, but I'm still a fan of lanky boi dance moves, so. The single is in the trailer for some lame HBO programming and probably in the new Madden too. drink the kool aid:
Here are the visuals for Theophilus London's infectious anthem "I Stand Alone". It's already the soundtrack for the second season of How To Make It In America; it's just one of those made-for-tv jams that will probably be abused by music supervisors everywhere. Tweet
Gigamesh Sunlight provided us with a great new remix of Theophilus London's track "I Stand Alone" off his latest album "Timez are Weird These Days". You can peep the interactive live performance of it, sponsered by Dell and Intel (more info about the show below), above or catch the studio version as well as the free download below... via 2dopeboyz: On August 20th in Austin Texas, Dell and Intel Present Special Engagements concert series kicked off with scorching performance by Brooklyn sensation Theophilus London. The intimate affair happened at The Lustre Pearl, a unique [...]

Theophilus London recently released Timez Are Weird These Days via Reprise Records. In addition to being one of my favorite album titles of the year, the content is quite refreshing as well. It's a fun collection of songs, including an interesting collaboration with Sara Quin of Tegan and Sara on “Why Even Try” and the fast-paced jetsetting anthem "All Around The World". One of the more impressive tracks is the album closer “I Stand Alone”. This song is sure to stick with most album listeners and its mainstream appeal is undeniable. As the [...]

Last night, Theophilus London took to the Jimmy Kimmel stage to perform his single "I Stand Alone," which comes off his recently released LP Timez Are Weird These Days . If you have yet to check out the album, you can stream the entire thing here (for a limited time.)
Great to see a guy you've been following for a while break through on national television. Ever since I first heard "Humdrum Town", I knew that Theophilus had a unique X-factor which could take him places. He consistently put out material that was his own style, never was influenced by what other rappers were doing at the time, and he's slowly but surely managed to pave his own lane in the genre. If you haven't already, pick up his debut album Timez Are Weird These Days. An undeniably great listen from start to finish.

From the LP Timez Are Weird These Days, here's "I Stand Alone," which serves as a closing track for the album. Timez Are Weird drops tomorrow , too! It's a display of New York rapper Theophilus London's poppier sensibilities. How this guy combines hip hop and pop attracted me on first listen with Lover's Holiday , and I'm excited to hear it carried out in full force on this new album. Stream the track above, dig on its lone wolf hook and electronic backdrop.
Our favorite Hip-Hop renaissance man is releasing his debut album very soon! On July 19th, Timez Are Weird These Days will be available everywhere for fans of all types to sink into. I first came across Theophilus London when i watched his clip for "Humdrum Town" and as I delved further I was continually impressed [...]
Theophilus has been everywhere the past few weeks, as he gears up for the release of Timez Are Weird These Days, which is due out on July 19th. Whoever runs his marketing team is killing the game - you literally can't get away from him. As we're now a week away from the album release date, I'd assume the song leaks will stop here, but we'll see. "I Stand Alone" was released directly through Wired yesterday. The chorus on this one sounds like something Sting might have put on the table years ago - completely different from anything else out there. [...]

Theophilus London - "I Stand Alone" by TheophilusLondon Theophilus London runs the interwebz. Last week he debuted several unreleased songs on music blogs and one on the social media powerhouse Mashable. Today London's latest single "I Stand Alone" is being streamed along with a few of his other tracks on Wired . I thought this was funny at first because my dad loves Wired but Theophilus is definitely reaching all different kinds of people with the wide array of platforms he has been using to showcase his music. "I [...]

Remember this guy? Well, Berlin-based DJ/producer is back stronger than ever, with a Grammy nomination for his remix of the Röyksopp & Robyn track The Girl And The Robot , as well as a couple of new tracks that still use that "metropolis sound" that Proto spoke of in his post. First up we have his remix of the Eric Amarillo track Air . It's always a pleasant surprise to me when the drop of a track blows me away much more than I was initially expecting, and that is exactly what [...]
