Since the mid-aughts, Craig Finn has built a strong reputation by writing clever, witty and pop-culture-infused story songs as the front man for The Hold Steady . With five albums under his belt with the "world's greatest bar band" , Finn will release his solo debut, Clear Heart Full Eyes (whosetitle is a reference to Friday Night Lights), via Vagrant Records on January 24.
