Damon Albarn 's animated outfit Gorillaz team up with the Converse Three Artists. One Song campaign on new track  DoYaThing.   A collaboration between Andre 3000 and LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy , the single also promotes new Chuck Taylor sneakers - a limited edition collection which features artwork by Gorillaz own James Hewlett. Damon Albarn puts that memorable, monotone voice to good use in "DoYaThing" with backups by Andre 3000 and James Murphy on the production. As much as I love to hear Albarn's soothing vocals, Andre 3000 was the add-on that this shit needed. Finally it's here: the Gorillaz collab with Andre 3000 and James Murphy! The track is called "DoYaThing" and is made as a promotion tool for the Gorillaz Converse Shoes. The Gorillaz decided to deliver a gift, with the help of a corporate company, to all their fans with a new release today. The new track "DoYaThing" features LCD Sound System's James Murphy along with Outkast's Andre 3000. Gorillaz are part of the latest "Three Artist, One Song" series  for Converse, along with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem fame and Andre 3000. The song will be available for download starting tomorrow on Converse's  site . It's got just about as much funk in it as you would expect from that lineup. I haven’t been this pumped about a new song in a minute. This is THE JAM. The Gorillaz featuring James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem fame) and one of the greatest emcee’s/musicians ever to do it Andre 3000 aka Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3 stacks. Dude is the truth. Musically ridiculous. I love this track. James and Damon lay down a sick musical track while Andre steals the show. Leaving the song begging for a new Outkast album by the end. Enjoy.
