Just in case you don't like the Kid Sister remix of Total Recall . Here is another one.
We wouldn't necessarily call the music video to Jarren Benton's raucous single "Shut Up Bitch" NSFW...unless you happen to be around a bunch of woman's rights activists. In that case, [...]

Download: Super Market Knife Attack 2011 (Instrumentals) In 2011 music collective SMKA (aka Super Market Knife Attack) helped reshape the sound of hip-hop, venturing into uncharted sonic territory without losing a grip on their rap roots. After projects with the likes of Aleon Craft, Young Scolla, Jarren Benton and more, their longstanding The 808 Experiment series, The Report compilation and a host of singles, SMKA looks back at their best work from 2011. Their Best of 2011 album is available now, but SMKA has turned [...]
I really wasn't sure what to expect when Jarren Benton first set foot on our Perfect Attendance stage back in October with a Davy Crockett 'coon hat on. Whoever coined [...]

Well this is some shit. I guess if we're gonna ease back into regular programming after a brief Necro break, this is the way to do it. Jarren Benton's "Skitzo" is some pretty twisted stuff, but it's crafted together with a precise delivery that's hard not to compare to vintage Em, seeing as Em is the guy to match when you're talking precise delivery and twisted stuff. This one isn't brand new, but Jarren's got a mixtape coming up called Freebasing With Kevin Bacon , so look out for that if you like what you hear.
The A3C festival was a wild place. At the confluence of hip hop, weed, alcohol, speakers, men, women, clothes, chains, rims, more weed, more alcohol, and great food... music happened. Artists from all across the globe came to Atlanta to participate. Behind the scenes, something else was happening: Live recording. Stankonia Studios is where Big Boi and Andre 3000 made all their Outkast albums. Last week, SMKA (shoutout to Mike and Blake) and Royal Flush invited me to come listen to an album and drink with them. There [...]

A3C dropped their Compilation Volume 1 as an album with a handful of underground artists who have not killed their style to fit in with the mainstream world, and the end result was fantastic. One of these artists was Jarren Benton; who released the visuals for his single "Skitzo". Jarren Benton really went in on the song with some dark lyrics and a heavy flow, and this video goes hand in hand with it. This is some real raw hip hop and with a simple creepy sound to it, Benton shreds the beat. We are starting to see more and [...]

The good folks at SMKA release the third installment to their 808 Experiment series, featuring a cache of fucking awesome artist like, but not limited to branDun DeShay, Mikkey Halsted, Freddie Gibbs, and Sam Dew of Cloudeater ( see what I did there? ) . Trust me, these mogs went hard on this one. Lend and ear to Sam Dew's track District In The Dark and sniff the bag before you cop the zip ( see what I did there? ). Oh, and for those who reside in Atlanta there are two release parties happening [...]

Certified Shit (Prod. SMKA) by SMKA New leak off The 808 Experiment: Vol 3, Jackie Chain "Certified Shit" featuring Rittz, Jarren Benton & Young Scolla. The 808 Experiment: Vol 3 drops in April and will include features from Aleon Craft, Bobby Creekwater, Casey Veggies, Sam Dew (of Cloudeater), DaVinci, El Prez, Freddie Gibbs, Goines, Grip Plyaz, Jack Preston, Jarren Benton, Laws, Mike Schpitz, Phil Ade, PRGz, Rittz, Scar, Skewby, STS, Thee Tom Hardy, XO (of Diamond District), Young Lyxx and Young Scolla.

Jarren Benton loves outer space as evidenced by extra-terrestrial references from Battlestar Galactica to Outkast on the quixotically titled "A Spacesuit and a Parachute." Lyrically, Benton has talent and he packs the track with enough wacky rhyme styles to please, even if sent from orbit. While the beat doesn't achieve the plane of Benton's lyrical whims, the collaboration with Aleon Craft should satisfy those who prefer their Hip-Hop a little avant-garde. The album, Jarren Benton meets SMKA: Huffing Glue with Hasselhoff, drops January 25, giving you plenty [...]

From the homies over at SMKA ... Huffin Glue with Hasselhoff is the third project in the, "(Artist) meets SMKA" series. This album showcases one of the livest, craziest, and perhaps most slept on MC in the Greater Atlanta Area. Simply put, he is the most interesting man in Decatur. He may look a little like Justin Bieber – in the right light – but don't be fooled, he will murder a track. We hope you enjoy this album as much as one would huffing glue with hasselhoff on the set of Baywatch. [...]
