While I will never understand the rise and appeal of awkward teenage boys at the cinemaplex during this decade (I suppose I prefer my movie man reality to be the fantasy of Brad Pitt or George Clooney as opposed to say watching myself on screen), it's unmistakably clear that Jay Baruchel is the best of the bunch (which really only includes Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg). So. I don't know what I was expecting out of this trailer for the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced, Nic Cage-starring Sorcerer's Apprentice Disney movie based on the famed segment from Fantasia . Loosely based would be more like it. All in all, I think Bruckheimer has created an interesting world here and I'm intrigued to see what they do with this property.
