She & Him write some pretty simple songs, but when they rolled through The Tonight Show last night, they had a whole lot of help in playing one of them. Playing "I've Got Your Number, Son," one of the songs from their new Volume 3 , Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward had help from five backup singers and two drummers. As posted earlier today, Kelly Rowland returned the co-vocalist favour by duetting on The-Dream's non-Rihanna cover, Where Have You Been. Apart from the song generally being amazing and me doing a 180 on KRow of latel, you should watch their Jay Leno performance for the hair-weaving-backwards giggle Kelly lets out at the 2:30 mark. All in all maje maze etc.

Leno, of course, had nothing to do with the amazingness of this Pump News skit. Someone should just give this couple their own show, stat. [via gawker ]
