Mike Dean, longtime hip-hop producer and frequent collaborator of Kanye West and Jay-Z , spoke today with Huffpost Live . He offered a few details on the creative process behind West's forthcoming album, Yeezus , revealing that he's been working on it for the last six months. Dean described Kanye as a "couch producer," who brings together a team of all-star producers. Multiple producers contribute ideas for each song, after which Kanye picks his favorites. At the moment there's no word on a title, collaborators, tracklists, or anything else of the sort, but after rumours surfaced of Kanye West releasing a new album in June after he made a tweet saying "June Eighteen", it's all but been made official.
