A whole batch of new J. Cole tracks makes this a dope start to the month of May. After giving us “Cole Summer,” (which sparked a hilarious Twitter exchange with the subject of one of his lines — see below) Cole dropped Truly Yours 2 , the six-song followup to February’s awesome EP. Kick back and get lost in Cole World.

J. Cole's Lauryn Hill sampling new track "Cole Summer" which you can download for free above. There's a few cool bars on this, but apart from that it is no surprise the song is a freebie. Throwing thousands in the strip club with Drizzy Difference is I'm through four, he's throwing fifty - J. Cole Previously: J. Cole - Power Trip feat. Miguel

J. Cole wants everyone to know "that this right here is not a preview" for Born Sinner scheduled to drop on June 25th. Cole also wants us to know just about everything else in this highly introspective, thoughtful track. From "making it rain" etiquette to spending money on things near and dear to him, Cole pulls no punches on this track. He also has something fun to say about Tia and Tamera Mowry from Sister, Sister so keep your ears open for that.

It's going to be hard to hard to argue that J. Cole isn't the best rapper alive after Born Sinner drops June 25th. Cole has been releasing heat to increase buzz for his latest LP. Every song he drops is better than the last. Lyrically he is a great storyteller and paints a picture in your mind. His production is incredible from his sample choices to the loops he creates. It is reminiscent of Kanye's style of production during the The College Dropout era. It's going to be a "Cole Summer"

Two months later with Power Trip still on repeat, J. Cole dropped a new track today appropriately titled Cole Summer. With only two months left to wait until the Carolina MC's sophomore effort drops on June 25th, the work he's providing us is simply bitchin. This gem will not be seen on the Born Sinner soundtrack, however, is nonetheless a gift from the smooth jam god to hold us over. What a considerate, kind, nice young man. Clocking out at just under five minutes, Cole Summer is worth [...]

When you ask hip hop fans who they think will (or, rather, should ) blow up in 2013, you'll hear a variety of responses. However, one name you'll hear more often than not is J.Cole . Perpetually on the cusp of greatness, the North Carolina native continues to pump out quality work as an MC, but has yet to break through to nationally recognized success. Cole dropped the video to his latest single Power Trip the other day, providing a visual to his would-be meandering love song. However, the [...]

J. Cole FINALLY releases a single from his upcoming sophomore album. It's been delayed now for what seems like an eternity. It's called Born Sinner and it will feature this track "Power Trip" , and it features a sick hook created by Miguel . This isn't the first time these two artists have collaborated, you can take it back to their 2010 single, All I Want Is You . The moral to the story in Power Trip , is don't let people run all over you, especially those that say they "love" you. [...]

J. Cole and Miguel first came together on Miguel's smash hit All I Want Is You, a track that I for one believe helped launched Cole's career. The second effort from this duo does not disappoint, check out J. Cole's " Power Trip ft. Miguel" below and enjoy the bonus treat of their first song below...

What better day than today to release a song about love? J, Cole and Miguel join forces for "Power Trip" the first single from J. Cole's new album Born Sinner . "Power Trip" is available to buy now on iTunes US . Previously: J.Cole - Truly Yours EP

As he promised earlier this week when he released Truly Yours J. Cole has released his latest single off Born Sinner. For this song Cole hooks up with Miguel who he collaborated with on " All I Want Is You ". The song features another one of his strengths, his own production. Cole's production value has been undervalued of a long time now. This is a high-quality beat and the way Cole finds his flow is perfect.

Similarly to Drake's message with his "Started from the Bottom" release, J. Cole went to his Dreamvillain blog to release his latest EP "Truly Yours": It’s time. I appreciate you giving me the time I needed to grow, experiment, and find the direction for my 2nd album.. And I have. Along the way I’ve recorded at least 4 albums worth of material, lots of it being unfinished demo versions waiting to be polished up, some of them are great songs and important stories that just won’t make the album (either they don’t fit [...]

Smooth slow beat riding machine J. Cole released an EP today titled Truly Yours, a project rather unexpected but which has been received with open arms and wet earz. The five song tracklist holds songs which the Carolina MC thought didn't quite fit his upcoming sophomore album Born Sinner. One man's trash is another man's treasure, my man. Included in the EP is Cole's go at the beat for Nas' Life Is Good track Stay, which proves to be an intriguing track both lyrically and instrumentally. You might recognize the [...]

A few months back Big Sean released his Detroit mixtape which contains a hell of a track titled 24K of Gold. The song was produced by Sean Don's fellow Finally Famous posse member Key Wane and originally featured J. Cole. For Mr. Wane's (I AM THE BATMAN) newly released mixtape So Many Keys, the D-town artist decided to add a Raekwon verse for a remix of the track. Raekwon's smooth, effortless rhyming plays well next to Sean and Cole's verses, over a sleek ass instrumental I might add. So Many Keys includes various songs Key Wane has produced, rapped, or [...]

J. Cole decided to revive his Miss America single with help from DJ Drama as he laid some new bars down over Wu Tang's It's Yourz beat. After releasing the initial version, Cole had a lot to say in his response to a question about the track on the AMA red carpet. When asked how he feels about people deeming the track as "aggressive and angsty" and his take on Miss America, Cole responded by explaining how he hopes the song serves as a "culture [...]

In an effort to go completely in by himself and make the beat his main bitch, J. Cole rendered his collaboration with Fabolous on the Soul Tape 2 mixtape and gave us his solo version of Louis Vuitton . Cole 's version sees him taking over vocals on the all hooks ( Loso delivered a couple on the original) as well as an additional verse from the Carolina MC. I think both versions of the track are solid, I'm not sure which one I prefer. I love Cole for [...]
J. Cole’s latest track from his upcoming album due out January 28th, Miss America, takes a brave and serious look at the state of affairs in the nation. The Roc is lucky it got it’s hands on Cole. That’s real talk. The NC native is the future of good hip hop. Between him and Kendrick Lamar, I haven’t been this excited for young, new emcee’s in ages. J. Cole made this incredibly intense beat and then kills it. Go cop his stuff on iTunes .

Here's a brand new one from our boy J.Cole, Miss America . This is the first single from his highly anticipated upcoming album, Roc Nation’s J. Cole . “Miss America” serves as both a homage and scolding of these beautiful United States of America. Cole produces a dark, fitting instrumental over which he spits consciously, and at times angrily, delivering his own State of the Union. As a young emcee of the highest caliber, the North Carolina native demonstrates his insight and intensity exuding the maturity of a seasoned veteran. It's kind of funny [...]
Kendrick Lamar - The Jig Is Up (Dump’n) [Prod. by J.Cole & Canei Finch] - Click to download Newness from Kendrick Lamar on a J. Cole and Canei Finch beat. Heat!

With Kendrick's new album, good kid, m.A.A.d city , being discussed as one of the albums of the year it is nice to see the young rapper come out with something so quick. The Jig is Up (Dump'n), Produced by J.Cole and Canei Finch, is an aggressive track that speaks to Kendrick's haters and just seems to be a very well put together response to anyone who doubted this man's creativity and drive. With all this new Kendrick we can't really expect anything new to to soon, but then again he never ceases to amaze so keep a close eye...

Nevermind the fact that good kid, m.A.A.d city is already out, Kendrick Lamar just doesn't stop. This newest track "The Jig Is Up" comes with production help from J. Cole and Canei Finch . Take it as a little prize for having such a standout album.
