![J. Cole – Cole Summer: Episode 2 [Video]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3603344_lg.jpg)
J. Cole drops the next installment of Cole Summer. This one features some really good footage of Jermaine's Aunt talking about Cole's drive and passion for what he loves to do.
Open University Presents: An AmadeuzTV/Strong Arm "Fresh to Death" production Fashawn "A Higher Learning" with Unsa Suhail for 90.5 KSJS "Fresh to Death" radio. Fashawn performs at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA and gives and exclusive interview on Higher Learning 2, J. Cole, Odd Future, Nas' Illmatic, future projects and new studio album. Directed and edited by Amadeuz Christ for I.V League Media

J. Cole does a lot of interviews. Probably more than we, as fans, would like because it only seems to lengthen the wait for his debut to drop. But his talks with HardKnock always seem to be a bit better since a running history exists between the media outlet and Cole opening the artist to answer all questions with a level of honesty and allowing him to speak comfortably. The topics covered run the gamut as HK's Nick gets Cole to talk Sideline Story's Jay-Z feature, the storytelling influence [...]

In part two of his Rap-Up interview , J. Cole talks the significance and meaning behind the Sideline Story title, holding out for a verse from Jiggaman and working with Trey Songz. He also shares a few of the producers - most notably No I.D. and Danja - who will appear on the album, still slated for September 27th. For good measure, part one's included and Cole talks touring with Rihanna, clearing Kanye samples and loving Paula Abdul. Yes, Paula Abdul.

The other day I was watching a video on Youtube of a discussion about why J. Cole hasn't "blown up" or why his career isn't further along. To be honest I did think this topic is being discussed a little prematurely seeing as how Cole's debut album hasn't even dropped yet, but one point did stick out. Cole has been lacking with a visual presence online. His last couple of mixtapes were dope but he didn't follow up with visuals and although I'm a strong believer that I don't need to know a rappers every moves I still [...]

The truth is this. I've mentioned previously being lightweight disappointed Friday Night Lights didn't receive more of a push from a visual aspect. So seeing J. Cole's team taking the active approach by releasing what looks to be a series of vlogs leading up to the liberation of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story is a positive sign. At this point, the ball appears to be in Jermaine's court to ensure enough butts are in the seats in the coming months to warrant a September 27 release date being [...]

After building much anticipation off of his successful mixtape Friday Night Lights , J.Cole informs the public that his debut album is finally complete. J.Cole tells Bonnaroo, “The only thing I’m not looking forward to about the album... I just finished the album last week,” Cole said. “It’s weird. It didn’t feel like it because I’ve got to wait three months for it to actually come out. I’m used to putting out a mixtape I’ve been working on for a year and instantly see the response. I can instantly follow everybody’s response to [...]

Here comes round 2 of #SampleSundays! This week we hit the J. Cole track, Cost Me A Lot . The song clearly has a sampled sound to it once you hit play but, the you may never guess that the tempo of the original track was sped up a bit and know how the sample was chopped. Eleanora Fagan, a.k.a, Billie Holiday was easily one of the stronger singers coming out of her era and transitioning a new style to the smooth sounds of jazz. Billie Holiday had this was of playing with words and tempo [...]

I'm a lil' late on getting this up but better late than never when it comes to dope content. APlusFilmz just made, what might be, the best video out right now. Kendrick already destroyed this song produced by J. Cole, but the job that APlus did with the visuals is bananas! Check it all out below, NOW!

During a press conference for the 2011 BET Awards Ms. Drama got a chance to ask J. Cole a few questions regarding his long awaited debut album. Cole assures everyone that the album is complete and he'll be going into full promo mode starting next week, we'll see. There are no posts related to J. Cole Says The Album Is Done, Single Is Coming Next Week (Possibly) .

J. Cole stops by Hot 9372s @OnAirIdiotShow and talks Jay-Z being mad at him rumor, him not knowing about being in the MLB video game, college being cool, Hot Jam 10, the new album, and he tries to steal a poster of Mya! I suggest you watch this all the way through. J. Cole touches on the subject of, "being on" and had some very interesting things to say. He also speaks a bit about how to take advantage of other media outlets vs. chasing radio stations to play your music. [...]
Rahsaan teams up with video director Darryl Omar for this remix to J.Cole's "In The Morning"

Words By Greg Whitt “DC Shoes ain’t D.C. Shit...” – Fat Trel Fat Trel is an enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a grape cigarillo. He is aligned with the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area’s most recognizable Hip-Hop artist, recent Maybach Music Group signee Wale. Oddly enough, Fat Trel is everything Wale is not. He wears North Face, not Billionaire Boys Club. He’s much more likely to rhyme over a Lex Luger beat than something by 9th Wonder (though some would argue that might be the case for [...]
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe. It's almost unfair for Roc Nation to Have J. Cole and Jay Electronica on their roster... Almost . Listen to the pipes on LaTonya Givens.
Donald Glover/Childish Gambino Arguably everyone’s favorite community character is also in the rap game. It’s even more awesome because the soon to be triple threat is absolutely murdering everything he touches. If you don’t see the parallels between Donald and a Fresh-Prince era Will Smith you are blind. Another blog favorite, Mr. Duvall, has even joined the party. In case that’s not enough, some album quality Lupe and Cole as well. Childish Gambino - Freaks & Geeks Javelin feat. Childish [...]

J.Cole and Drake cleverly released their new music video for "In The Morning" the day after Valentines Day. Along with "In The Morning" being one of the many ill tracks off of J.Cole's mixtape Friday Night Lights , the music video compliments the song very well. Watch it Below!
