We first heard about this exciting project Pitchfork.tv was putting together last week , and on Monday it has already arrived. With behind-the-scenes footage with family, in the studio, the Dilla Day concert and more, this 20 minute piece is a great look into the life of Danny Brown . The documentary starts off with some drama during the Dilla show,  but finished more upbeat. This definitely isn't what I originally expected, but ends up being more revealing and insightful than I could have ever imagined. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Danny Brown has garnered most of his attention over the last year or so, but even before that he was well versed in the Detroit rap scene, and, as such, had worked with the late and great J Dilla. Now, fittingly, Brown is set to appear on the compilation Rebirth of Detroit , where rappers deliver new raps over unreleased J Dilla instrumentals. Danny Brown's contribution is called "Jay-Dee's Revenge," and the accompanying video sees Brown delivering powerful, fiery verses over a grimy J Dilla beat. Check out the video above.
