Jem Panufnik, aka Jem Stone, co-founded breakbeat label Finger Lickin' Records, has DJ'd and produced under various aliases and is also a graphic artist and composer for film and TV. You'd expect a high degree of invention from someone with a CV like that, and "Electric Circus" definitely delivers. Tis the season for family get-togethers, so we were happy to check out the new sibling seasonal collaboration between Welsh singer/songwriters Jem and her younger brother Yestyn Griffiths, aka Glass Pear . "Until the Morning Comes", available digitally, is much more of a Glass Pear styling, a ravishing folk/pop melody that has "classic" written all over it. Jem's sophomore album, Down To Earth , was so stale that slipped off of the radar right after it was released. But, this song is the savior from it. It has a bit of Spanish beat and they lyrics are hummable, to say the least. There were rumors of a new album, but this video makes it look like she is on her second campaign still.
