While Halves' recorded output is atmospherically rich and grandiose in its instrumentation, live, the experience is more easily relatable. Which may have influenced the decision of the band to release a live album recorded in December at Dublin's Unitarian Church. The Garden Sessions 2011 will take place in August Monday to Wednesday 8-10th, which is also during the town festival Birr Vintage week and Arts Festival.
