This has long been one of my favorite posts to write every week. I'm a former record store employee so I have a strange nostalgia for the excitement that Tuesday used to bring. It was a very busy weekend, I'm feeling a little folky and soul-ish today.

Tonight is gonna be a good night, folks. Lily Allen at the 9:30 followed up some a little DC carousing on what is supposed to be a lovely night. Natalie Portman's Shaved Head is the opener tonight - anyone familiar with them? They look to be a hipster nightmare explosion from the one video I saw on the YouTubes. Some time in the middle of the night, we hit a milestone here at DeadOn - we cracked the one million mark on page views. It's an arbitrary celebration, but it feels big to me. Mostly I'm proud of the way we've reached 1,000,000 - we've never been link whores, we don't beg other bloggers to link to us, we've just kinda fallen into it. If you build it, they will come. Our MTV recaps (especially The Hills...) have been the big traffic driver over the past year, but on occasion our other features have brought in some eyes. So, [...]

Well, that happened, didn't it? I'd also like to echo the comments of the blogosphere when I say that the two judges at once thing sucks. Hire a director who can reign the show in, ok? And stop pissing off my fellow "Fringe" fans - that's a show we should have been recapping since the start - and no more running late! Speaking of running late, the Roundtable isn't!
