Morrissey is set to release his new album, ' Years Of Refusal ', on February 23. The singer announced the release date of his new album on his website along with information about the album's first single. The twelve-track album, which was produced by Jerry Finn , will be preceded by the single ' I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris '. I was completely unaware, until earlier today, that longtime producer Jerry Finn, 39, had passed away after being removed from life supports needed from complications suffered from a massive brain hemorrhage suffered in July of [...]

Last Thursday—two weeks after being taken off life support—producer and mixer Jerry Finn died from complications from a brain hemorrhage. Finn mixed a number of significant alternative releases of the '90s, including Green Day's Dookie and Jawbreaker's Dear You before breaking out into production with albums like the Smoking Popes' Destination Failure , Superdrag's Head Trip In Every Key , several Blink-182 and Blink-related side projects, the two most recent AFI discs, and both You Are The Quarry and the forthcoming Morrissey release Years of Refusal . Jerry Finn - who has been pronounced dead several times online over the last few weeks - actually passed on Thursday 21st , reports Billboard. The 39 year-old had worked with most of the figures in the post-Green Day "punk" scene - his big break had been engineering on Dookie - but after a list of credits including AFI and Blink 182, he took on the perhaps surprising role as producer for Morrissey's You Are The Quarry. Seminal record producer Jerry Finn has passed away after being taken on life support. Finn suffered a brain hemorrhage in July. He was 38 years old. Finn produced and mixed some of the biggest and most crucial albums of the 90s. He worked with bands like Rancid, Green Day, Morrissey, Alkaline Trio, The Vandals and Jawbreaker.

Morrissey 's forthcoming album, ' Years Of Refusal ', which was originally slated for release this September has been postponed until early next year. A spokesman for Morrissey told Billboard that the new album will now be released in early 2009 but did not elaborate on why the date was pushed back. The twelve-track album, the follow-up to 2006's ' Ringleader Of The Tormentors ', was produced by Jerry Finn and will be released on Morrissey 's new label, Polydor . [...]

He is being cared for by Dr. Black. He is the best in his field just as Jerry is at producing records.
