We've covered Coachella quite a bit here at VTT; discussing news, fashion , and of course the live performances that went down the past two weekends. The festival, as it does each year, featured huge names like Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Wu-Tang, up-and-comers like Father John Misty, Action Bronson, and TNGHT, and newbies like The Chelsea Clintons, The Obesity Epidemic and Get the Fuck Out of My Pool. Dumb hipsters wanting to be sooooo in that they get suckered in to talking about bands that are so obscure that they do not even exist. Portugal. The Man  trucked down from Portlandia to Hollywoodland for an appearance on  Jimmy Kimmel Live!  last night. In support of their forthcoming album,  Evil Friends , the Pacific Northwest collective twisted out their latest single “Purple Yellow Red and Blue” , along with past The Satanic Satanist  hit "People Say". There's been some exciting developments in electronic popstar Susanne Sundfør's world of late. In the wake of her album back catalogue being released for the first time in the UK, Susanne's collaborated with M83 on the title song for 'Oblivion', the new epic sci fi film from Tom Cruise. Hype Machine and Spotify chart-topping moments later and Susanne found herself performing the successful track on Jimmy Kimmel last night with Anthony Gonzales, her first appearance on US network tv no less.
