As announced , John Mayer joined Frank Ocean as musical guest for last night's SNL season debut hosted by Seth McFarlane. Frank killed it! Tonight's premiere of Saturday Night Live's 38th season saw many changes. For one, Kristin Wiig and Andy Samberg are no longer permanent cast members. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is their choice of talented musicians, and tonight, SNL brought onto the stage Frank Ocean at Studio 8H. Frank Ocean made his Saturday Night Live debut on the September 15 season premiere with two knockout performances. His first song was his now-staple "Thinkin' Bout You," followed by the second half of " Pyramids " (which we predicted !). That being said, it's amazing we live in a day and age where a musician gets better right before our eyes and is less popular than when he came out. We over at the maroon cafe could care less about popularity, just keep growing as a musician. Also, don't ever release another stinker like Battle Studies .
