M. Ward is back in April with his first solo album in three years, A Wasteland Companion . As Pitchfork reports, the album spans 12 tracks and features contributions the She in She & Him, Zooey Deschanel, as well as his Monster of Folk collaborator Mike Mogis, Sonic Youth's Steve Shelley, Giant Sand's Howe Gelb, and PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish, among others.
