Last night's Later... With Jools Holland was all about big reissues, specifically the recent reissues of Lana Del Rey and The Weeknd . Lana came in with "Ride," the first single off her re-release of Born To Die: Paradise Edition , and Weeknd performed "Wicked Games" to support the commercial release of his 3 mixtapes, Trilogy . Two artist who have re-release old material early this month took their mood music to the stages of Jools Holland . The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey perfromed stand out tracks from their albums, "Trilogy" and "Paradise". The Weeknd performed his cut "Wicked Games" and Del Rey performed her single, "The Ride." One could only imagine how somber their song would be if these two released a track together.

On the same week that The Weeknd performed on Jools Holland , Lana Del Rey , too, graced the stage of the BBC show. Del Rey performed "Ride," one of the new songs that appears on the deluxe edition of Born To Die . Evidently, she's come a long way since her shaky SNL debut . Watch her performance below. We introduced you to Palma Violets back in August via their highly infectious single " Best of Friends " and they've gone from strength to strength. With that in mind, last night they were one of the guests on Later... with Jools Holland and performed that aforementioned catchy track and they put in a stellar performance. It was energetic and attention grabbing from start to finish. It's been a solid line-up of guests this season for Later... with Jools Holland and last night's mid-week broadcast didn't disappoint either. British viewers got to enjoy the sensual vocals of The Weeknd who performed his track "Wicked Games" which featured on the recently released Trilogy . Rewatch the magic up at the top. Tonight on Radio One, Zane Lowe will be playing back a live session from Abel too that was recorded earlier in the week and the legendary Maida Vale studios so look out for that tomorrow too.

Though she has been everywhere this year, it feels like it's been forever since we've seen a  Lana Del Rey  performance. The real/imagined drought ends tonight (November 27), as she performed  "Ride" on the BBC's  Later... with Jools Holland (just over a year ago she made her television debut on that show). Tame Impala performed another track on the extended Friday edition of Later... With Jools Holland following up their great performance of " Elephant " earlier in the week. This time we get to enjoy "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" from their album Lonerism too and it was just as great a way to end a week as it is to start one so hit play and c heck it out up at the top. Last Tuesday evening we got to enjoy Biffy Clyro drop by for the first broadcast of Later... with Jools Holland and they performed recent single " Stingin' Belle ".
