After already stunning us earlier this year, which lead to us naming him One To Watch , Willy Moon gave an electrifying performance of his most bombastic single, "Yeah Yeah" , last night on "Later... Everybody's favorite Brooklyn band, Grizzly Bear , stopped by Later... With Jools Holland last night to give a very solid performance of Shields highlight "Yet Again" . The four piece proved on the show that their live act is just as good, if not better than on record, with vocals that were absolutely spot-on. It wasn't just the vocals, though; Chris Taylor's bass, Daniel Rossen 's guitar and Chris Bear's drumming were top notch too, breathing a lot of [...]

Willy Moon has gone from strength to strength this year. He's recently been announced as the support for Jack White in the UK this coming month. Last night he also performed on Later... with Jools Holland which is sure to bring him into the consciousness of the masses watching at home. He performed his single from earlier in the year, "Yeah Yeah". Catch the dapper man dancing and performing at the top. He owns the entire studio! It's a truly great show from a rising star.

Jessie Ware performed live on Later With Jools Holland this week and nailed "Wildest Moments," proving she doesn't need any recording studio tricks to lay down some really impressive vocals. Check it out above, and watch her second performance of "Night Light" over at The Line of Best Fit .

Jessie Ware stopped by Jools Holland this week to perform her hit " Wildest Moments ". The song has been ravaging its way through everyone's ears recently, and Jessie is well deserved of such stardom. Ware's powerhouse of a voice is garnering her undivided attention; her album Devotion  is among talks for being one of the best debut albums of the year. On its most recent episode, the British show Later With Jools Holland played host to a couple of women without much in common besides their tender, huge voices. Jessie Ware, who should really consider touring the U.S. one of these days, gave a powerful rendition of her excellent single " Wildest Moments ," from her Devotion album. And Sharon Van Etten, who tours the U.S. a lot, played " Serpents ," the first single from her 2012 effort Tramp . Watch both below. Read More...

As well as that performance from Jessie Ware that we saw not too long ago on Later... with Jools Holland , we also got to see Sharon Van Etten return to the television screens for the first time since way back at the start of the year . She performed her track "Serpents" with the help of her band and you can watch it at the top. Nice use of an Ebow at the start of the track. Always fun to play around with those. This week on Later... with Jools Holland we get to enjoy the wonderful Jessie Ware performing her incredibly infectious single "Wildest Moments". Enticing the audience in the studio as well at home, you can re-live the understated performance at the top. Her live voice is incredible. Her debut album, Devotion , is out now.

Bobby Womack's album, "The Bravest Man In The Universe" his first original album in 18 years, is surely on our shortlist for top album of the year. Recently, Womack and Producer Damon Albarn took to the Jools Holland stage and played "Please Forgive My Heart." This is a legend (in my eyes) that we are watching.

Earlier this year, Damon Albarn and XL Records boss Richard Russell teamed up to produce The Bravest Man In The Universe , the new album from wizened soul-music legend Bobby Womack. Both Albarn and Russell also played in Womack's backing band when he appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last month. And on the most recent episode of the British show Later With Jools Holland , both were back behind Womack, Albarn on piano and Russell on beat machine as Womack croaked the minimal lament " Please Forgive My Heart ." [...]

Last week we got to enjoy performances from The xx and Muse on the first show in the new series of Later... with Jools Holland. Last night on week two's show the chart topping Mumford & Sons were in the studio to perform their track "Whispers in the Dark".
