Macca's second solo album, Ram was panned left and right upon it's release, but time has done nothing but add to the albums charm. Recorded at Paul's home studio, this track like many others on the album has a certain ramshackle sincerity that furthers the albums appeal. Brendan Benson has a knack for writing hooky classic pop songs, and ladies and gentleman, it doesn't get much more catchy than this. Clapton's lone songwriting credit for Blind Faith actually came from the Derek and the Dominoes sessions. Eric handles the guitar and leaves the vocals to Steve Winwood. Rounding out this original "super-group" Ginger Baker on drums and Traffic bassist Rick Grech.

From Sharon Van Etten's 2010 album Epic, "Peace Signs" is chick rock at it's best.  Dark and moody yet sweet and subtle the song drives along with the chug of an electric guitar and the pounding of an unavoidable bass drum.  A 'sign' of good things to come this well crafted tune is reflected in Van Etten's newest album Tramp, which employs these tricks to their fullest ability. An absolutely beautiful song with a beautiful message off of one of the greatest albums of all time. The first time I heard Backstreets, I was thoroughly convinced it was the greatest thing I have ever heard. What starts as a doo-op veined pop tune turns into something else altogether. From the moment everything drops out but the piano to Bruce's screaming crescendo at the end this one is something special. A high point off of an incredible album, this is one hell of a way to close out side one.

J ukebox the Ghost is releasing another single to the followup album to their acclaimed Everything Under the Sun , titled Safe Travels , the track in question, "Don’t Let Me Fall Behind," is a brilliant power-pop gem that is definitely one of the most polished sounding tracks they've released.
