They've recently reunited and celebrated getting back together with a sold-out show at New York's Bowery Ballroom on July 18, 2011. The band's name means "crazy food" in Italian, so as you should expect, many of their songs are about food. Lead singer Miho Hatori's stories in between songs were absolutely hilarious. This was a poorly timed release. Astro Coast , the debut album from Florida indie rock group Surfer Blood , was not suited for my headphones as I trudged through the Chicago snow last February. It's best suited for now -- when we're nearing the dog days of summer and weekend trips to the beach are typical. trappedintime : Phish - Festivalography Pt 2/4 Part two covers Phish's festivals from 1998 and 1999, Lemonwheel and Camp Oswego, highlighting their growth as a band, and contrasting Phish's festival versus multi-band festivals from the same time period. There's a great version of the Talking Heads' "Cities" as well as one of my personal favorite jams from 1998, Gumbo -> Sanity.
Piper - Phish 7.18.99 - Camp Oswego, Oswego, NY Soundboard version of one of the most ripping Pipers ever played. Dig in before it digs your ears out!
