I'm just recalling one epic week in Fall 2008. It was the last week of October - that week, I attended 3 events, all while working part-time at the community pool and going to school full-time. On the Monday, I saw Anberlin perform at the Phoenix; Wednesday, I saw Parisian electro duo, Justice, at Circa; and Friday, I attended a Halloween party at Circa, where Toronto's own Thunderheist played a set. Is Justice creating a new genre with this gnarly disco? Their sound has clearly moved towards a more...refined direction. With age comes a refined pallet and a newfound love for the funk phenomenon. Helix has it all. The headbanging Justice vibe with a smooth touche of the disco. It's clear that the Banger duo are fans of a more funky band sound...
