I'm pretty sure Canada, the directors of the new Justice video, just invented the greatest sport in the history of people inventing stuff. Roller Derby meets American Football meets Lacrosse meets NASCAR meets Baseball meets Foosball. Obviously, American Football, NASCAR, and Baseball are three of the most boring sports on the planet, so they had to be revamped into something interesting and watchable by people outside of America. I’m not sure what the budget was for the new Justice video for “New Lands”, but WOW. I mean this is the most expensive looking thing I’ve seen in a while. We have two teams that are a competing in a sport (get ready) that combines: football, baseball, roller derby, motorcross, lacrosse, Terminators, and Scott Pilgrim-style action. Justice is back with a brand new video of their latest single 'New Land'. The concept is this fictional sport that combine football, baseball, roller derby and moto cross. The attention to detail is amazing and it shows why Justice's new video is always an event.

If this is the future, I'm all in. I don't know what the hell is going on here, but it looks incredible. Intertwining football, Nascar, lacrosse and other, bizarro-world, futuristic sports into one - I'm all on board. Do you Justice, do you. "New Lands" is off Justice's Audio, Video, Disco. Tweet

El dúo francés estrenó otro audiovisual de Audio, Video, Disco , en este caso para el tema New Lands . Las melodías electrónicamente rockeras se transportaron a un futuro apocalíptico donde el baseball, el fútbol americano y el vale todo forman parte del mismo y sanguinario deporte. El video fue concebido por el colectivo artístico español Canada .

I saw Justice's documentary a couple years ago, and it was awesome. I follow their career off and on, and today they dropped a crazy futuristic sports video for their smash, "New Lands".  I'd like to see Adam Dunn get some at-bats in this situation.  Watch the new clip below.

Good news: The days of syncing up the Tron: Legacy soundtrack with the iTunes visualizer to avoid subjecting your brain to the near-offensive frequency of plot holes throughout the movie are over. You have to thank Justice. Whenever your feeling like your in need of something refreshingly different, Justice is always right there to provide you with some of their borderline weird but ultimately amazing work. I'll admit it did take some getting use to after Cross but I'm really digging the new Justice. They could have easily done the over compressed distortion sound for at least another two albums and few would have complained. Instead they're reinventing themselves and offering something new. All great artists from the Beatles to Jay-Z have managed to withstand the test of time by finding new ways to express their artistry.     A pesar de que el nuevo disco de Justice no haya cumplido las expectativas de muchos, le están echando ganas. El nuevo sencillo de Audio, Video, Disco  se llama "New Lands" y su video lo hizo CANADA , estudio de Barcelona que si algo sabe hacer muy bien, es hacer videos. Enjoy.    

"New Lands" by Justice, from the  New Lands EP available on iTunes .  This big budget video (possibly my favourite of the year so far) was created by Spanish collective Canada, who puts their interpretation on the song with a throw back to Escape From New York, Rollerball and Any Given Sunday.

Justice have really outdone themselves with their latest music video. The "New Lands" video, financed by Red Bull Music, is set in some sort of futuristic colosseum as thousands of fans and a sinister group of owners watch their teams compete. Two teams do battle in a sport that can only be described as: baseball meets Tron meets  Rollerball  meets American football meets Gladiator . It might just be the coolest sport ever invented.
