Vincent Belorgey (a.k.a. Kavinksy) begon zijn carrière als acteur, maar na in meerdere films gespeeld te hebben ging hij zich in 2005 met muziek bezig houden. Vincent had voor zijn muzikale alter ego een leuk verhaal bedacht. In 1986 zou hij als tiener zijn verongelukt door een aanrijding met een rode Ferrari Testarossa.
