2 Chainz knows how to make something so incredibly catchy you almost hate yourself for liking it. That's how i feel about " Birthday Song ", simple, ignorant, and undeniably the best possible pick for a single. I mean who doesn't like a girl with some extra junk in the trunk, and we all celebrate birthdays! Plus the beat is a banger(word to Sonny Digital & Kanye West ). 2 Chainz and Def Jam hosted a conference call today in preparation for his Based On A T.R.U. Story album, which drops August 14th.  To go along with the call, 2 Chainz released the clean version of the lead single "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West. The song is produced by trap star beat maker Sonny Digital and Kanye as well. 2 Chainz stated the song is following the similar template he used with past singles like "Riot", where he works the track with a "club" influence. After getting off the Def Jam conference call, 2 Chainz delivers as promised, his newest song featuring Kanye West , Birthday Song . The song was produced by Yeezy and Sonny Digital . We're a little on the fence on this one because it has club banger potential but Kanye didn't deliver a heavy hitter verse as we probably wanted from him. This is a great 2 Chainz song though. Kanye West continues to help out his lesser minions-this time rolling with G.O.O.D. Music's 2 Chainz . Of course, 2 Chainz never really has much of value to add to the tracks he is featured on, but luckily the beat on "Birthday Song" is absolutely incredible. Hell, even Kanye's verse was pretty lame, but that monstrous production keeps us from skipping the track completely. Anyway, you can decide for yourself by listening down below. The track was co-produced by West, and serves as the latest single off 2 Chainz's upcoming solo album, Based On A T.R.U. Story , which will be released on August 14th via Def Jam.
