It has been almost a year since the KANYE WEST unleashed the final horror of a video for his mega-song, MONSTER . The likes of the video surfaced and then quickly disappeared. It features luminaries such as the RICK ROSS , the JAY-Z , the BON IVER , and the NICKI MINAJ . Well Mr. West has officially officiated it today and re-released a final version of the video. See below. [...]
Finally, out of nowhere we have the official clip for "Monster", via Kanye's site . Directed by Jake Nava
Tweet The official finished version. Hot dayum this song is so tight, and I still can't get enough of Nicki's verse. Connect with Kanye West - Facebook | Twitter | Last.fm | Website
This leaked ages ago (in a very low, somewhat auto-tuned quality), but wasn’t properly out up until now: the video for Kanye West ’s Monster . It features Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver), Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and Rick Ross and is easily one of my favorite tracks of last year (Nicki’s bit in particular, guilty pleasure etc.). Watch it above or head over to Kanye West’s website .

They say good things come to those who wait... This leaked back in December . That was 2010. I don't even remember how people acted back then. Fuck, Ye, what you been doing ? Whatever. Here's the official video for "Monster." I can't even complain (I guess I already did). This is awesome and I love it. Kanye brings an artistic vision into hip-hop unlike anyone else. Sidenote: I am so into Nicki on Nicki. I know what I'm dreaming about tonight. Hit the jump to watch the video. [...]
Kanye lets loose the final version of the controversial video for the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy banger "Monster" featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj. Enjoy!

Click image to download full album Sounds like: Bon Iver, Kanye West, Kingdom, Girl Unit "Deadboy - Down On My Mind" What's so good? Deadboy just released his latest EP, Here , a highly recommended purchase. As part of the release, he decided to give away a free track, a disco-garage take on Bon Iver's "Woods." True, it is a sample that's been used more than most, but I don't think anyone's [...]

After Justin Vernon had a lot of fun doing his thing with Kanye, he has unveiled the first song off his incredibly anticipated new album, called “Calgary”. Anything that Bon Iver releases now will always have a hard time living it up to the untouchable masterpiece of For Emma, Forever Ago . “Calgary” sees Vernon at a somewhat strange place. By strange, I mean almost sounding content and sort of pleased. This will take me a bit to get used to. WHat I can tell though, is that this is gorgeous, atmospheric folk-r ock at it’s finest. There is a bit more fullness of a sound on [...]
The first single from the much-anticipated sophomore effort from Bon Iver was released and I'm seriously obsessed. It's been quite some time since For Emma, Forever Ago was released in 2007 and subsequently, the Blood Bank EP from 2009. Although we've heard Bon Iver pop up in Kanye West songs and on the soundtrack of [...]

Yes. Download: Bon Iver - Calgary [Audio clip: view full post to listen]

New track from Bon Iver. Minus their work on Kanye's 'Lost In The World', the group's been fairly quiet since For Emma, Forever Ago. This is the first single off the upcoming Bon Iver. Download
Filed under: News , New Music Wendy Redfern, Redferns As we turn the corner on the spring season, we can already bypass summer and get a taste of the chilly, wintry folk from Bon Iver 's self-titled upcoming record -- set for release June 21 via Jagjaguwar. 'Calgary' showcases the chamber vocals characteristic of past Bon Iver releases, combined with sublime synth pads and lo-fi distorted guitars. It can reasonably be assumed that [...]

Kanye West's favorite folk rocker is about to make his triumphant return, which surely has the Internet abuzz today with the first single from the upcoming self-titled album, out on June 21st via our friends over at JagJaguwar . At first listen, this sounds much like his work from his previous Bon Iver releases, then it gradually begins to build. Don't get me wrong, this isn't going to be an all out rocker of a tune, but it's definitely got a more upbeat feeling towards the end, crafted with some [...]

The most unlikeliest buddies in pop, Justin and Kanye. Just look at them; Mr Iver gazing deep into Kanye's trademark Alain Mikli shades, the chemistry is undeniable. A reassuring hand rests on West's shoulder as he (literally) spits out his latest rhymes. Shit guitar player though. This here cartoon, and all previous Alt-Pop Profiles are exclusive to TLOBF, however, if you want more of the same why not check out Anika Mottershaw's debut book, Anika In London ; a selection of comics and drawings from her past two years in London. It’s out now via Something In [...]
Benjamin Francis Leftwich has already been a staple here at HMCMB. Wholeheartedly captured by the emotion and mystery of his enchanting EPs 'A Million Miles Out' and 'Pictures'. We vowed HERE to make a conscious effort to keep you up to date in all things Leftwich, which would of course mean mentioning that he has just released the first single 'Box Of Stones' from his forthcoming LP 'Last Smoke Before Snowstorm'. Box Of Stones is Leftwich at his most intense and resonant. The soaring chorus' and soothing verses create an atmospheric and consuming sound that you cannot help but [...]

A first impression is a lasting impression. At least that is the conventional wisdom. And I'd argue that whatever wisdom lay in that theory with regard to social interactions applies equally to a listener's interaction with music. If you have a negative reaction (i.e. boredom, indifference, or outright dislike) to the first song you hear by a band, it can be very difficult to overcome that first impression. And although people are listening to music as "albums" less and less frequently, an album's opening track is nonetheless often a band's first opportunity to connect with a listener. Additionally, opening tracks [...]
Perhaps the greatest gift Coachella bestows upon its attendees is the feeling that you're not alone. Schmaltzy, yes, but stick with us. Now, among discerning music fans, a band like The National is far from obscure. They've garnered widespread critical praise over five albums, played on national TV and multiple international festivals, and are even headlining the Hollywood Bowl later this year. But ask your mom, your older sister, the guy who sits next to you at work or the dude from high school you still keep up [...]
Hands down the most hyped about performance of the weekend. With his last high profile performance being that of Bonnarroo in 2008, there was a significant amount of pressure on him to pull off something big. Also, with a crowd that had been strung out, running from stage to stage for the last three days [...]
While the future of Gorillaz may be unclear, the band is still putting out product. On Monday the animated act put an iPad app up for sale through iTunes called the Korg iELECTRIBE Gorillaz Edition , a virtual analong beatbox that allows you to remix songs from the group's latest LP, The Fall. The program includes 128 new sounds created by the band and 64 ready-to-use pre-programmed patterns by Gorillaz, Stephen Sedgwick and Korg. Korg iELECTRIBE Gorillaz Edition currently costs $9.99. Let's take a [...]
