J. Period recently got the go ahead from Kanye West himself to compile a mixtape full of remixes of G.O.O.D. Music classics and unreleased material, appropriately titled G.O.O.D. Music Remixed & Unreleased . One of those previously locked up tracks to surface is this one right here. Judging by the flow, "Hold On" seems to be a holdover from The College Dropout/Late Registration era of Ye's career. The short but sweet number features Yeezy and former affiliate Consequence trading bars over a simple, but effective piano-laden beat. The track serves as a reminder of [...]
Previously unheard, unreleased material from Mr. West is tough to come by these days, but a quick little two-minute collaboration with Consequence just surfaced today. G.O.O.D. Music: Remixed & Unreleased is a mixtape that was just released by J. Period, and it includes a whole slew of previously unheard tracks ... Read More

Yes, any track that features the Game, Kanye West and Common should be incredible, but unfortunately it's not quite as good as that line-up suggests. Sadly West is a non-entity on this one, which is a shame because ' Rollin' was incredible. However, Common sounds great, the production is tight and the whole track has an urgent quality to it, which makes the 3:54 runtime seem quite short. The track is taken from the Game's new album, Jesus Piece (out December 11th via DGC/Interscope)
Only 6 days until The Game releases his newest LP, Jesus Piece and today he is here with the title track for the LP, tactically featuring Kanye West & Common. The song is dope, but I don't think I can still take The Game as serious as I once did, if he keeps putting out these solo compilation LP's.
Earlier today, Game "leaked" his new album Jesus Piece on Los Angeles radio station Power 106, providing the first chance to hear the Kanye West and Common -aided title track. Unfortuantely, Kanye's role is limited to the hook, which is all that more frustrating when you consider his other collaboration was cut from the album's final product. At least the artwork is cool. Listen to the track below (via FACT ). Jesus Piece the album arrives December 11th [...]
Due to licensing issues, the latest track ('Rollin') from the Game doesn't feature on his forthcoming Jesus Piece , but as the L.A. rapper explained on twitter , it could make for a pretty great companion piece: "Once again, we couldn’t get the sample cleared... but once you get the Jesus Piece album… line this up right after 'Jesus Piece' & it will fit pefectly[sic]." Back to the song... 'Rollin' was produced by Kanye West (he appears on the track too) and features Trae The Truth, Z-Ro, Paul Wall, and [...]
Kanye West jumps on the remix to Rihanna's new single "Diamonds". The remix is available to buy now on iTunes UK & iTunes US . Previously: Rihanna - Diamonds (Video)
Kanye West hops on the remix of Rihanna's "Diamonds". Check out Yeezy's verse below. Rihanna is kicking off an overseas tour right now, maybe we'll see Ye make a guest appearance.
Shout out to @3x0dia for bringing up this video and the point that Nicki seems to work harder on other people's joints than her own. She can be real hit or miss and then just come out of nowhere with a crazy verse, it's really random. Another example on top of Out of My Mind would be her on Kanye West's Monester joint. She really "turned heads" on Monster . Peep Kanye's come back on her Blazin track. Although she does well, rumors [...]
London-based UK 'funky' collective Funkystepz are renowned for their first-class edits of Top 40 hip-hop and R&B tracks but this bass edit of 2 Chainz ' schlocky "Birthday Song" really ups the ante. Producers Renay and Stimpy speed up the tempo, sprinkle in some house piano and siren bleeps for good measure. The result is an evocative party anthem that outdoes the trashy original in every possible way. It will grow on you, trust me. Download here along with an equally outstanding edit of Missy Elliot 's "9th Inning." Check out Funkystepz on: [...]

Saiu o terceiro single do álbum Cruel Summer . Produzido por Hit Boy, Clique conta com versos de Kanye West, Jay-Z e Big Sean. A compilação da G.O.O.D. Music sai no dia 18 de setembro.
We've had a bit of a cruel summer waiting for the G.O.O.D. Music crew to finish up their ultra-hyped collaboration. Today, we get a brand new glimpse of the album with the second single to Cruel Summer , due out, ironically, this fall (September 16th to be exact). Kanye West teams up with Big Sean and Jay-Z to jump on some banging Hit Boy production, giving us yet another posse cut from the talented crew. If you enjoyed [...]
Yesterday, a snippet of Kanye's new one, "Clique," emerged, a preview that presented a track buoyed by a compelling, maximal Hit-Boy beat. Now the whole thing has showed up. When the track turns to Kanye, he doesn't waste time, dropping a humdinger of a line that people surely will be talking about; "My girl a super star / All from a home movie." Hey! And yeah, Jay-Z gets loose, too. Hear it below. Read More...
At a time when riots are an uncomfortably normal thing to see and hear about in the news (or even be part of), the video for Jay-Z & Kanye West's Watch The Throne track "No Church in The Wild" seems strangely natural. While I have no reservations about there being a generous budget behind the video's creation, I can't but watch it and feel like this is all real footage, and that the youth of Prague have gone ape-shit for some reason. Watch them take on riot police amidst a serene setting below:
An official video drop from Watch The Throne pretty much shuts down the internet. Here we have the extravagant, over-the-top, violent, molitov cocktail-laden, politically charged visuals for their album opener "No Church In The Wild." What, you expected them to mail this one in? Tweet
Chicago rapper Kanye West cranks things up a notch on this new track, ‘I Don’t Like’. Featuring Pusha T, Jadakiss, Big Sean and Chief Keef, the track is park of West’s G.O.O.D Music project. For once Kanye raps through an aggressive track without “gggnnnnaarrrriiiiinnngg” at the end of every line, the Jadakiss verse is a bit of a disappointment but overall this is a stonking track, get listening below.
