In an extremely Kanye-ish move, Kanye announced in a press release this morning that he will be premiering a “fusion of short film and art installation” at the Cannes Film Festival, entitled Cruel Summer ( though, out of competition). Have you been trying to figure out what Kanye West 's group album with G.O.O.D. Music will be called? Well, it turns out that the highly anticipated project is titled Cruel Summer . Oh, and that's not at all. Apparently it will be accompanied by a film of the same name that's inspired by the album. The film is set to premiere on May 23 at the Cannes Film Festival and then it will be open to public viewing for the next two days. Who wants to buy me a ticket to France?

Kanye West's latest venture, other than Kim K, is the video for "Lost In The World", off of his last solo project My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Directed by Ruth Hogben, the video fits Kanye's style well, blending the lines of art and music into a stylish product that only Kanye would attempt. It works though, watch it below.

The 16 year old's track "I Don't Like" has been given the remix treatment from Kanye West and co aka G.O.O.D. Music . The new version features Pusha T, Kanye West, Big Sean, and Jadakiss, and is definitely a get up-stand up anthem for Chicago. The Legendary Traxster has been holed away in an undisclosed studio in NYC over the past few weeks, diligently working with Kanye West and the G.O.O.D. Music camp. While we're not 100% sure what project he's working on (it's likely the G.O.O.D. comp), we did catch him in a pic a few weeks ago with Ye, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Mos Def. Above is some video footage from the G.O.O.D. sessions.
The eclectic beat-maker RAJA has been quiet as of late, but has put out a grouping of some recent remixes he's done, one that didn't make the project is his edit of "Mercy" - which definitely deserves the same ear play. Check his remix project here as well..
