In an interview this morning with the Hot 97 crew, Q-Tip reveals some details about his signing to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music , as well as what we can expect from the collaboration. Tip talks about how the deal came about, as well as confirming rumors that his forthcoming album will be called The Last Zulu . As Hip Hop teams keep expanding, Kanye has just drafted his next teammate. Q-tip is officially part of the G.O.O.D Music imprint under Universal/Def Jam Records. Legendary Tribe Called Quest producer/emcee Q-Tip has announced that he's officially signed with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint. Kanye West identified Q-Tip early and often as one of his influences and favorite artists.  Over the last two years, Q-Tip's collaborations with Kanye have increased, and people have been talking for a while now that a move to West's G.O.O.D. The first single from the G.O.O.D. Music compilation is a banger featuring one of hip hop's biggest buzzing artists at the moment.

In the Christian world, today is Good Friday, in the music world, today is G.O.O.D. Friday. Kanye West has revived his weekly releases of music with the first track being titled "Mercy," which features Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz. After releasing the attention grabbing " Theraflu ," West is at the beginning of what will become a G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. The G.O.O.D. Music fellas do not disappoint with the midtempo, bass-heavy track. No confessions in this one but a firestarter start to a great weekly music series.
