G.O.O.D. Music's compilation album is definitely one of the more anticipated releases of the year and during an interview with Funk Flex , Pusha T revealed that the album will impact August 7th. In a world of push-backs, only time will tell if Kanye and company's project will actually release then. In other news, the G.O.O.D. Music crew will be taking the stage at the BET Awards this year. No word on if 'Ye will join them on stage, but rumor has it that a special guest may be - Mase perhaps? Who knows.

Pusha T appeared on Funkmaster Flex's radio show last night to kick a freestyle and announce some pretty big news. The Clipse rapper revealed that we'll be hearing the G.O.O.D. Music compilation,  Cruel Summer , on Aug. 7, which feels way too far away. But hey, that at least means we'll probably be hearing follow-up single to " Mercy " soon, right? Ever since Kanye West revealed plans for a G.O.O.D. Music compilation , anticipation for the album has continued to build. Originally due in the spring, few details emerged about the project and a formal release date was never announced. Fans awaiting the release, however, can finally breathe as G.O.O.D. Believe it or not, our favorite part of Kanye West / G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer single "Mercy" is that outrageously awesome Super Beagle sample . DJ's RL Grime and SALVA must agree because their pulsating, dance-floor ready remix of "Mercy" basically isolates the vocal sample and throws it over a cascade of drum machine loops and a sandstorm of those phasers that are all the rage right now. Never thought a parking garage could look so cool, but Kanye West 's visuals for "Mercy" proves me wrong, the video is mind blowing, not to mention the song! I strongly believe that G.O.O.D. Music is taking over!
