A My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy cut song, “Mama’s Boyfriend”, has finally leaked online. We first heard the snippet of the track awhile back, before the record came out, and now we have a full treat on our hands. I can see why this didn’t make the record, as it has too much personal information of Kanye and his childhood. Picture this track in the short film, Runaway. It would not fit in at all. On it’s own it actually is a superb track. it’s a “Hey Mama” part 2 if you like, but I think it’s a certainly more aggressive Ye.
MBDTF leftover and I can see why. Not a terrible track, but definitely would not have gelled to well with the other ish off Kanye's latest LP. Kanye West - Mama's Boyfriend Shouts to The DOTR .
It's about time! I think people have been asking me where this track was since Kanye was performing at live shows like his time at the Facebook headquarters. Kanye's on his murder masochist grind in this one. The video originally leaked back in December.. I don't know why it took 6 months to release it but here it is! Maybe the petition and MTV's ban against the video had something to do with it? The sensitivity of society... MBDTF went platinum in January of this year.
Kanye's "Monster" video was released several months ago, then pulled after 'Ye blamed MTV and the man for not accepting its greatness. And now the same video's back and appears to be the same one that was initially removed. While Kanye will invoke the word "art" while describing it, the clip remains much ado about nothing, incorporating a bunch of weird models and loose references horror flicks. Ross is sitting again . Jay is the only one who noticeably doesn't take part in the video's ghoulish acts. And Nicki secures having the best visual interpenetration [...]
