2 Chainz and Def Jam hosted a conference call today in preparation for his Based On A T.R.U. Story album, which drops August 14th.  To go along with the call, 2 Chainz released the clean version of the lead single "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West. The song is produced by trap star beat maker Sonny Digital and Kanye as well. 2 Chainz stated the song is following the similar template he used with past singles like "Riot", where he works the track with a "club" influence. Following their efforts together on "Mercy" , 2 Chainz and Kanye West join forces once more, this time for "Birthday Song". The track was co-produced by West, and serves as the latest single off 2 Chainz's upcoming solo album, Based On A T.R.U. Story , which will be released on August 14th via Def Jam.

Those looking forward to a "cruel summer" will now have to wait until the fall. According to Pusha T's official website , the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album will now hit stores on September 4. Cruel Summer is set to feature the hit single, ' Mercy ,' as well as the recently released ' New God Flow .' Pusha T previously announced that the album would be released on August 7. Kanye West debuted a rousing new verse during his performance with his G.O.O.D. Music family at the 2012 BET Awards Sunday (July 1) night. Turns out that verse is snatched from his new collaboration headed up by Pusha T , titled "New God Flow." DJ Khaled is prepping his new album Kiss The Ring, and in his preparation he managed to snag the two hottest artists in the game, Ross ad Kanye. I still don't understand what exactly Khaled does to claim releasing his own album, but I don't think I ever will. Either way Hit-boy killed this beat, and this is a banger, something Khaled does know something about.
