Photo: Tom Medvedich You may already know that Jay-Z sneaked up on the fluffmakers with "Open Letter" this week to address some of the things people have been saying. If you missed the memo from the desk of Hov, here it is for reference. Well, it seems like Jay-Z lit a fire under the rest of the crew, because right out of the gate Pusha T (in association with Kanye ) decided they wanted to get a little something-something. The result? "Numbers on the [...]
No artwork or flourishes are needed for Pusha T’s surprise release “Numbers On The Boards.” Push spits ten consecutive life sentences worth of pure, uncut, coke talk over stripped down [...]
After Hov released his track Open Letter , Kanye West made a long overdue reappearance on twitter to state that today will be about real hip hop and Pusha T will be dropping a new track which you can check out below via the link. Our family Hov brought that real hip hop shit this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 11, 2013 PUSHA T NUMBERS ON [...]
After Jay-Z released his " Open Letter " earlier this morning, Kanye decided he couldn't let his big bro have all the fun today. Yeezy made his return to Twitter for the first time in months this afternoon to let everyone know: Our family Hov brought that real hip hop shit this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 11, 2013 Soon after, we were given this [...]
“Our family Hov brought that real hip hop shit this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going.” – Kanye West Kanye shares this clacking, minimalistic, Jay-Z sampling Pusha T track, "Numbers on the Boards," which may or may not have been (but probably) produced by West himself. Pusha sounds revitalized and exciting, but "Numbers" probably won't make a splash in the White House briefing room. [...]

I hate myself for saying this, but when Kanye West tweets nowadays it's kind of an event. So naturally, when he tweeted what's shown below, I got excited along with you and other Internet people. A few minutes later, we get a brand new Pusha T single, produced by Kanye himself. It's fire, but Jay-Z definitely wins today because " Open Letter " is everything. Our family Hov brought that real hip hop shit this morning so me [...]

"Our family Hov brought that real hip hop shit this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going," tweeted Kanye West at 3:13 pm ET. "Numbers On the Boards" arrived just 11 minutes later. It's a solo track from Pusha T , presumably produced by Kanye, which briefly samples Jay-Z's "A Million and One Questions/Rhyme No More". Take a listen below. Fortunately for everyone, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney probably won't have to field questions on this [...]

Produced by Kanye West. My Name Is My Name drops later this year. Thanks, illRoots . The post Pusha T - Numbers On The Boards [Prod. by Kanye West] appeared first on Fake Shore Drive .
Kanye West's GOOD Music label didn't exactly have the greatest year with 2012. Their extremely hyped collaboration Cruel Summer was received fairly poorly, Kid Cudi's WZRD largely flopped, and Big Sean, CyHi da Prynce and Pusha-T were mostly relegated to mixtapes and guest verses. So naturally, Kanye and co want to start off 2013 on a strong foot, and Pusha T's latest mixtape Wrath of Caine is the cure for what ails GOOD Music. Pusha T is one half of the legendary hip hop duo Clipse, and after [...]

With the Clipse now a thing of the past (with Malice finding god and changing his name to No Malice - see what he did there?), we have to rely on the other Thornton brother for our fix of coke rap. Pusha T's new mix tape, Wrath Of Caine , proves that he's definitely up to the challenge of carrying on as a solo artist. Speaking to HipHopDX , he had this to say: " Wrath of Caine is basically just me catering to my core. It's [...]
Rapper Pusha T is the latest member of Kanye West 's G.O.O.D. Music imprint to dash our hopes of a Cruel Winter compilation, making this the cruelest winter, indeed. Pusha spoke with MTV and said he thinks Cruel Winter was actually in the works at one point, but it has since been scrapped. "I believe that there were intentions for a Cruel Winter and there's so much music floating, but G.O.O.D. Music isn't one to just piece a project together," he said. [...]

Pusha T , one-half of the Clipse turned G.O.O.D. Music solo extraordinaire, is preceding the release of his debut solo album with the release of his debut solo mixtape, Wrath of Caine . The 11-track effort includes a bunch of tracks that have already leaked ( "Blocka" , "Only You Can Tell It" featuring Wale , and "Millions" featuring Rick Ross and produced by Kanye West ), alongside ones that haven't - like The Neptunes-produced "Revolution" and the French Montana-aided "Doesn't Matter". Here's what Pusha had to say about the mixtape: [...]

Day 3 of our 4-day countdown of the best of the year. Part 1 (80-61) can be found here . Part 2 (60-41) can be found here . To recap: AlbatRoss and I had 2 guidelines we stuck to in compiling this list: 1) it had to be rap (meaning no R&B - Frank Ocean and Miguel had killer years but they won't be found on this list) and 2) one song per project on the list. We did this (including honorable mentions, of course) to make sure we brought a good variety from the list and not to [...]

Yesterday, during Miami's celebrated Art Basel weekend, Don C hosted a star-studded in-store for his Just Don hat line at Florida boutique, Unknwn. Bringing the RSVP Gallery aesthetic to the 305, Don's line will now be carried at Bron Bron's shop in MIA, featuring exclusives and new pieces. To celebrate, Don held an in-store event that featured appearances from Kanye and Kim K, Lebron James, Pusha T, Cortez Bryant, Gee Roberson, Ronnie Fieg, IBN Jasper, Virgil Abloh, Jonathan Cheban and many more. Fans and gawkers lined the halls of the Aventura mall to get a peek of the [...]

The G.O.O.D. Music crew had a huge year with the release of Cruel Summer . This record top to bottom has some of the best production in hip hop along with some of hip hops biggest names. "Mercy" is the standout track in my opinion, especially the verses from Pusha T and 2 Chainz . Pusha T has emerged as the stand out lyricist of the entire crew, combining clever quips with street credibility. Kanye West - Mercy (feat. Big Sean, Pusha T, & 2 Chainz) [from Cruel Summer ] [...]

With The Man With the Iron Fists we get to see Wu-Tang Clan member and spiritual leader RZA do something he's always wanted to do: make a ridiculously awesome, totally kickass kung fu movie. The premise is classic Shaw brothers material: a small village in imperial China becomes the central location of attempted heist by numerous competing clans (lions, hyenas, jackals, and the like) when word spreads that a large shipment of the governor's gold will be passing through. The village blacksmith, played by RZA, is forced to make weapons on all sides, which [...]
